Over 1000 water districts in California, many in urban areas including LA Country, have water systems that are financially mis-managed and whose infrastructure is falling apart.

An Israeli expert wrote a book about how to reform California’s water problems. Among other things, he said reduce the number of water districts to ONE.

Then go on from there.

(There is plenty of water in California; deep down there is about a lake-Michigan size amount. And new techniques for desalinization make that a viable option, also.

(Of course, you can’t do any of that if you are spending all of your money on a high-speed train to nowhere...)

A prerequisite of good management is to have sane, rational people in charge. California is the land of rotting fruits and nuts.

Hey, access to clean water is a right.

It should be free and plentiful.

Some people live to be 100 without health care. But nobody lives a week without water.

It’s nothing a water meter on every private well can’t solve.

The troubled districts, which operate in mostly poor areas on thin budgets, receive little oversight and face a host of problems.

WHO runs these TROUBLED DISTRICTS in MOSTLY POOR AREAS on THIN BUDGETS and receive LITTLE OVERSIGHT and a HOST OF PROBLEMS?

It would let me read it.

But here’s an idea for them - Go back back where you came from!

Sounds like the powers in Los Angeles are pushing for statewide control of all water resources so they can send more water (brown or not) to Los Angeles.

California has been dealing with water issues since they “Created” the Salton Sea over a CA screw up.
They now get most of their water in LA from Colorado mountain runoff.

Its long since time they solve their own problems instead of stealing it from other States.

Trump needs to go after California. And ask them aren’t you sick of the rest of the country prospering, while your state is being over run by criminals, the homeless craping in the street, with bubonic plague infested rats feasting off of it? If not, keep voting stupid like Hollywood thinking the next liberal moron will fix things. Or you can vote for someone that can help make California Great Again. Vote Trump
