Every Presidential candidate that I've voted for who won (only Bush and Trump so far) has given me reason to regret my vote. I am regretting my vote.

Of course, if somebody has a sound explanation of why this affair would actually be acceptable when similar things were not under Obozo, I'm all ears. However, tropes such as "He can only do so much, given the Congress he has" are right out.

Actual Trump tweet in original.

And why in heck did MNUCHIN negotiate with PELOSI? What happened to Trump actually negotiating with Pelosi and Schumer?

It concerns me too but anybody, from either party, would be even worse.

It wasn’t part of his platform.

Are you happy with everything else?

This isn’t a hill to do on this year. The Dems would have used every cudgel available to them and excoriate Trump til election if he held out.

He’s not running again after next year. Let’s judge him then.

To be fair, they really don’t have a choice. It’s a shell game until the pea can no longer be hidden. It’s either this or total collapse/mayhem. And when that happens, it will be worldwide.

This explains it in a very entertaining way (Think of the little girl as gen X):

Please note that this was produced in 2013...

Yes, why is Trump caving? No budget cuts?

Don’t blame President Trump for being ‘forced’ to agree to an inflated budget. Point the finger at GOP Rinos and every conservativex who was too lazy to vote in 2018.

Sad.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again.

Democrats know that their base will never care if government is spendthrift and they also know that the Republican base will.

Cooperating with Republican administrations or “moderate” Republicans in congress has no down side for Democrats but it only ever backfires on the Republicans.

I can’t for the life of me understand why Republicans never learn this? Why people who choose to have an “(R)” after their name keep falling for the idea that Democrats are to be gotten along with, compromised with, to give up their promises because being a statesman-like and liked by Democrats is more important.

The old saying is fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me ... but with Republicans we’ve had decades of them being fooled on many things and they still have the balls to act surprised when it happens.

It’s like Stockholm Syndrome....

Simply understand that in a few years dollars won’t be worth very much.

We will win the house and his re-election.

Until then, the whiney pissants and chicken littles who complain about regretting voting for him can leave. If you regret him, you can leave. Go find one better, bring him back, and show him how to do it.

We are not going to solve runaway federal spending by domestic political means.

Only European and Asian governments can enforce domestic spending discipline by limiting dollar-based investments by their laws.

Trump is not a fiscal conservative and didn’t run as one. I’m not sure I understand any frustration.

None of these politicians care too much about limiting spending.

Spending money not yet earned by Americans not yet born, consigning them to debt slavery & a lower quality of life.

Bad.
