Three sources tell FOX News and FOX Business that budget talks between House Democrats and the White House are winding down, and a deal is close to being completed.
These sources tell FOX Business that the deal includes spending caps and debt ceiling increases for two years each, respectively. The deal reportedly includes spending increases for defense and non-defense spending.
A source close to the negotiations tells FOX Business that, for now, the deal would put no restrictions on reprogramming money for spending items like a border wall.
Sources tell FOX News Chad Pergram that the deal would permanently end the sequester and also suspend the debt limit until July 31, 2021.

Everybody agrees to let everyone else have their fill of pork.
A two year agreement will keep them from having to fight on substance during the election.
Money for the Border Wall?
Ill believe it when I see it.
And you are right. The only
thing they agree on is spending
our money.
It doesn’t say there’s money for a border wall.
SMH.
Not at you but because you’re right.
I LOVE 90something percent of what Trump is doing but any budget that adds to the debt should be vetoed.
I know, that’s impossible.
Why??
I have had monthly budgets when I was younger where I thought “there’s nothing left to cut!!! I’ll starve!! I’ll die!!”
And then I found enough cuts and then some to make.
Why do we have to be responsible but our govt doesn’t with OUR MONEY.
Let’s get the border under control and then tackle the spending. The illegal invasion will cost us everything if we don’t. We’ve been spending like the entire navy on a drunken bender since Reagan. There will be no restriction on re-purposing funds in this deal and I’m confident PDJT will do just that. This is a win. Once the border is secure we will have leverage to deal with the spending as the illegal vote spigot will be closed.
A source close to the negotiations tells FOX Business that, for now, the deal would put no restrictions on reprogramming money for spending items like a border wall.
Another budget deal with nothing for the wall.
I’m so tired of winning
What about the past few budgets??
What was the excuse for the trillion dollar deficits in them, even though there was no or hardly any money for the wall?
I disagree completely.
There will ALWAYS be a reason, political or otherwise, to destroy our country with debt.
And how you justify a trillion dollar deficit because we might get 10 billion towards a wall, I don’t get.
Have a nice day!
Well of course theres no restrictions insisted upon by the rats. One of their judges will impose restrictions for them
OK don’t secure the border. The country is almost lost now. 2 million more welfare cheats and dem voters a year should really help our fiscal situation. You can’t have it all at once. We need to deal with the biggest problem first and work down from there. I agree with your fiscal position, but there are problems that need to be encountered now. A protracted fight over the budget gets us nowhere.
Good point.

Fiscal Conservatism Dead: Trump’s Deal with Democrats Unleashes Spending, Uncaps Debt
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dvsUx496Sk
July 23 2019
President Trump’s budget deal with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer unleashes spending, kills the only existing restraint on it, and uncaps the national debt. The political move takes the debate off the table during the presidential election season. Pelosi and Schumer crow that the deal allows them to “advance progress for the people.” Does it also signal that any claim to fiscal conservatism by Republicans is dead?
How do you justify a trillion dollar deficit when the economy has been growing at the best rate in decades? What's going to happen when the economy goes into a downturn? What will the deficit be then? $2 trillion? $3 trillion?
Fiscal conservatism was never more than a talking point for the GOP to use when there was a Democrat in the White House.
A 20% across the board import tariff would eliminate HALF the deficit tomorrow. It would also speed up repatriation of industry. WIN - WIN.
The signal is that the spending battles will be fought on another day from higher ground, in the futrue.
At present, there are other, bigger fish to fry
Is that the right course? It is the consensus course
Politics is the art of the possible
Except all the deficit hawks are also Free Traitors WHICH MAKES NO COMMON SENSE.
Nobody in the Congress wants the tariffs you are constantly hawking
Aerica does not want and is never gong to get tariffs that strangle business and trade
Try as we might, we can’t get Congress to go on a spending diet.
Face it, we’d have to replace at 90% of the Senators and Representatives in Congress to get a budget that is less then the year before, let alone huge cuts.
But election after election, incumbents win 80-90% overall.
Whose fault is that?
WE the People.
