If you are looking for more of the demonetization of the left towards conservatives you don't have to look too far.The far left biased as hell Miami Herald is up to it's old tricks again with half assed reporting demonizing the Trump administration, one more time.
This time they harp and complain about Trump separating families at the Homestead facility currently being used to house children who wound up with no parents at the US Mexico border with adm. officials doing their best to house thousands of “children” who “mysteriously show up” in the US seemingly with or without their real parents.
Here's a clip from the Harald’s latest BS report:

“It’s time to stand up for the children being detained at Homestead center | Opinion

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/miami-dade/article232601632.html
(here is the headline)

I’d said before that when babies are not nurtured with love and affection, they can get sick and/or die. Babies and children in these migrant camps are treated less than animals.(a blatant lie) There are programs where the public can go into animal shelters and pet the animals. Children, who need warm touches of compassion and love to survive, are not afforded the same act of kindness as the animals.(more lies)
Something is very wrong here, America. And we need to do something to make it right.(they are right we need to vote in more conservative Republicans and fewer AOC’s!!)

For several months now, I have been talking to my friend Carmen Morris about what we can do to help immigrant children at the Homestead facility. In one of our conversations, Carmen told me about a Fourth of July protest that would take place at the facility to urge the authorities to stop playing with the precious lives of children.(the only one playing with the kids lives are the parents who rent them out and then the hard left libs who lie about the situation)

One of the protest organizers was Charlie Fomby,38, of Pompano Beach. She has been holding daily vigils at the Homestead detention center for more than four months.

“We are now on day 151,” Fomby said Thursday. “We come to the camp because we want to let the children know that somebody cares for them. When they come out of their tents, the first place they look is to see if we are there. As long as they are in the camp, we will be on the other side.
(uhh... some of the “tents” appear to be air conditioned facilitys—more Herald BS)
“I believe that more and more people are starting to realize that we are going to have to take action on behalf of these children. We can’t protect them in these environments. They are not safe places, no matter what.”(they are a lot safer than the streets of Homestead or FLa. city)

Fomby is right. Recently there have been allegations of child molestation and other abuses where children were forced to sleep on cold, hard concrete floors, simply because they complained about foul-tasting food and water.(notice the vague claims never backed by anything hard news wise)
..................
On the surface looks like ICE has a real problem at Homestead but the truth looks a bit different as told by an eye witness,Don Horton, of Key Largo, who was there on the scene doing an inspection for const. work of one type or another.Horton told his story to a group of concerned citizens yesterday in Marathon Fla.
Horton saw an orderly process of children being housed in a very clean place with a bunch of happy kids all playing soccer.
He saw bins of near clean bedding all lined up and asked what they were,Horton was told: “it was bed sheets that were being washed for the kids.” He was told the bedsheets were washed daily.I thought to myself ‘if my sheets are washed once a week I'm lucky’,here these kids are living in pretty good accommodations.”
Evidently the truth is a far cry from what the Herald and other far left wing productions keep claiming. But that's nothing new for driveby publications. Their pap continues to drop year after year as does their circulation which falls year after year until the time comes to pull the plug on yet another biased driveby left wing news publication which can't be too long away from disappearing.
.................... Perhaps some of these kids wound up in Homestead directy due to parental neglect in Central America. How many no one knows. Truth is in some cases, who knows how many:
evidently this 2014 piece is still accurate for today since the process of kids being rented by their parents still happens. To what extent no one knows.
Here's a clip from the link below:
..................
https://dfw.cbslocal.com/2014/07/01/official-believes-illegals-renting-kids-to-cross-border/ .......... Cuellar says that as he was speaking to Customs and Border Patrol agents he was also discovering a disturbing trend of adults “renting” children in Central America in order to increase their chances of being able to stay in the U.S. once they cross over.

“I was talking to somebody that worked for Border Patrol, and he said that in the late 80’s there were a lot of kids from El Salvador coming in and what they were doing is they had a ‘rent-a-kid’ program.” says Cuellar “In other words they said ‘oh if I come in and I have a kid with me they’ll let me go.” And the Border Agent told him “Henry, I’m seeing this again, I cannot believe it.”

“This is a phenomenon that has gone on for years if not decades,” says George Grayson a Professor of Latin American Politics at William & Mary “As far as I know they pay the families (and remember these economies are in sad shape) and therefore to get maybe a few hundred dollars you’re willing to give up your 7th or 8th child.” Some things never change.
