Four Republicans — Susan Brooks of Indiana, Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, Will Hurd of Texas and Fred Upton of Michigan — and Independent Justin Amash of Michigan voted with all Democrats to pass the resolution.

Brooks is retiring and the other three Republicans are considered vulnerable for re-election in 2020.

Upton. That’s the POS that essentially got rid of old fashioned incandescent light bulbs.

Why is he still in Congress?

Thanks for the info.

>>> Brooks is retiring and the other three Republicans are considered vulnerable for re-election in 2020. <<<

All of them (the retiring one included) are more concerned about their positions than trying to do the right thing. [Their excuses will always be they tried to represent their district, not their personal fortune.]

Wet noodle Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania just north of Philadelphia (near my state, Delaware) can be counted on as the weathervane. No backbone and no principle, still early in his political career. However, I wouldn’t doubt if the direction of the wind changes, he might pull an Arlene Specter.

They better be 'vulnerable' now - we need to remember these names come 2020.

Fitzpatrick is my Rep. here in Bucks County. Most of the people who voted for him thought he was his brother. He was on the radio this morning and mealy-mouthed some BS about how Pres. Trump has a bad “tone” but he wasn’t sure how he’d vote. I knew instantly he was going to vote for “condemnation”. Blah-blahing about how he wants to be “no labels” and work together so things get done. How come the Democrats never lean across the aisle over to the R side? And there’s NO ONE to challenge him who has a chance! I am so discouraged.

Will Hurd barely squeaked by getting re elected in 2018 they kept finding democrat votes. He many not win his next election in 2 years.
