On the kerfuffle on the flr involving Pelosi...When words are taken down, the member accused of using inappropriate language must be seated in the House chamber and wait for the ruling

Pelosi appears to have left the floor..which is a violation of House Rules themselves when someone’s words are taken down. That’s partly could be why this is taking so long. This is not just a rank and file member. This is the House Speaker

You seem to have some understanding of the “house rules”. Could you explain further how this works? What was necessary to trigger “words taken down”? I just cant recall myself when the minority was able to silence the majority speaker, and why would this power not be used to cause regular havoc by the minority party? What is the procedure now, and what is the consequence of having words taken down?

Also, not clear to me, so Pelosi does not have the support to pass her anti-Trump resolution? If not, why would she have even brought it to the floor? Bizarro world.

and of course the vote to take down Pelosi’s words is along party lines. It is no more about right and wrong, legal or illegal or even moral or immoral; its all about party power. The democrats are even more corrupt and unamerican than ever before. My side against your side and screw the American people who sent us here to represent them... if they thought that we would do that they are fools..... and I guess many of us are. We have to take back our government.
