OK, you’ve convinced me. I am headed down to SA tomorrow to confront the Messycans at the catholic saint thingamajig. That is a hill that I would die on.

Oh Im not saying that one flag is a problem. I am saying that no wimp in Texas will do anything about any one of the multitudes of insults
Not of Mexican flags flying nor the rampant takeover of the English language. Americans like you mock people who see the invasion for what it is.
you think something is going to magically come through and snap it into constitutional America
Good luck with that

And what do you propose that we as good Texans should do? Form a militia and start shooting brown people? What is it with your Texans are wimps attitude? I suppose your home state is just apple pie and baseball.

The history of San Antonio. What do you mean?
You know...San Antonio, a city which was originally settled by the Spanish in 1718, and in which Mexicans have been living for 300 years. That San Antonio.
The battle of the Alamo? Where guys fended off a Mexican invasion?
Coahuila y Tejas (present-day Texas) was a territory of the Republic of Mexico on March 6, 1836, the date of the Battle of the Alamo. The Mexicans weren't technically "invading," as it was their sovereign territory at the time. They were trying to put down an armed insurrection by mostly Anglo settlers, a series of battles commonly referred to as the War for Texas Independence, or the Texas Revolution. The land currently known as Texas did not become an independent nation until the Treaties of Velacso were signed in May, 1836, two months after the Battle of the Alamo.
If you hate Mexico and Mexicans, then San Antonio hasn't been your kind of place ever since its founding.

Anyone disrespecting out Flag should face the same consequences as the British did during the Revolution.
The only difference would be the shape and velocity of the lead projectile.

When does the shooting start?
To: stanne
Not at all, and any such conclusion would be solely the result of faulty reasoning on your part.
Since your understanding of the history of Texas during its Revolutionary period was obviously so sorely lacking, I thought I would help you fill in some of the gaps, as a courtesy.
You're welcome.

I propose that Texans get some humility and quit pretending theyre so tough
The Texans could quit letting their border be completely pervious and they could take one responsibility for this catastrophe
No hatred necessary
But an occasional hey speak English from anyone but just me could go a long way We New Yorkers used to do it no problem. I worked in Harlem in the nineties in a big hospital. Mt Sinai. We used to tell our co workers hey speak English. They sweetly did so. Apologetically They were making a good living working for the union. Speak English.

I learned about the Texas revolution along with my kids, my 9th grade students, my buddies and all my visitors with whom I take a tour through the Alamo
No one understands it.
No one understands it even more so now that the Texans have allowed this outrageous breech of our southern border
Pffft

No one understands it (the Texas Revolution).
If by "no one" you mean only yourself, then yes, that may be a true statement. ;-)

You take down an American flag and replace it with any other countrys flag then you are fair game to be shot. Kind of harsh.
I'm OK with beating them until they puke blood.
