Excuse me, Trump IS dealing with it via the tariffs. I think he’s realized the tariffs are good for our economy and national security in the long run. Meanwhile, I think China has decided for now it would rather keep ripping off Western technology than get rid of the tariffs, if that’s the choice. Being communist dictators, they don’t like the idea of giving anything up.
