I don’t think we could ever have something like those old Mark Russell specials on PBS, where he took equal shots at both sides.

I think Jimmy Fallon is a piece of liberal garbage. And has been for a long, long time.
He always pushes them and their agendas. Always.
I think Jimmy Fallon is the most talented, most open to other people and the most musical of the Late Night hosts. Yes, he was forced to make nasty Trump jokes for what seemed an eternity by his Hollywood co hosts on the other channels, but now his Trump jokes — as seen on this video — are good nature and fun. Perhaps the most mean spirited clown is Colbert and the other clown does a close second. I wish Fallon didn’t cave to those clowns but I don’t know the real stakes and what pressure he was under. If we can go back to those kind of Johnny Carson jokes that he does now America would heal from a real sense of humor.
Yeah it was light and funny. By today’s standards it was reasonable.
But they spend WAY too much time on politics in these monologues. There are other things happening in the world outside of politics that they could take advantage of.
