Two Republican senators said Tuesday the rape allegation made against President Donald Trump by writer E. Jean Carroll should be explored to determine the veracity of the allegation against the President -- even as many Senate Republicans sidestepped questions over the matter and defended Trump.
Sen. Joni Ernst of Iowa said both Trump and Carroll should be questioned about the alleged assault. "I think anybody that makes an accusation like that, they should come forward," Ernst said when asked if Carroll should be believed. "But obviously there has to be some additional information. They need to interview her. They need to visit with him."
Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah said there needs to be an "evaluation" but that he didn't know what entity should conduct it, "whether it's Congress or whether it's another setting, I'm not sure."

Notice, too, the vagueness of her comment. She’s not saying Congress or a special prosecutor should take up the case. She’s saying “they” should question her and “they” should meet with him. Not exactly a ringing call that heads should roll.

I watched the 1995 Charlie Rose interview of her. She basically bragged about how she loves to be “pursued” by men, and commented on the Neanderthal or Primitive thrill of it.

I agree that this womans allegations need to be investigated. It should start with an extensive questioning of her. If she can’t corroborate the story she (and any one giving false info to police) should be prosecuted to the fullest. Then sued into oblivion.
I didn't vote for Trump because of personality. I don't even like his personality but that is irrelevant.
I voted for Trump because he promised to seal the border, expel illegals who mean us harm and desire to change our system of government, and because he promised to address the problem of pedophiles.
He has worked hard to keep his promises.

She will never take an honest polygraph. Polygraphs are about 98% accurate and she knows it. To do so would expose her as a liar. She is in a catagory with Anita Hill, the woman who testified against Kavanaugh, etc. Where is her police report from back in the 1990’s? There is none. Why? Because it never happened.
Polygraphs are not very accurate.
I’ve taken the training very little science in it.
It all depends on the interrogation skills of the polygrapher. His ability to construct the questions & to psychologically intimidate the subject.
To do true lie detection you need to be able to read people’s minds.
Anyway I know she’s a liar. However a crooked polygrapher could easily construct a test she would pass with flying colors.
