Iran’s navy chief warned the United States on Monday that Iranian forces could shoot down more surveillance drones if they violate the country’s airspace, as Secretary of State Mike Pompeo arrived in Saudi Arabia for talks with Arab allies in the Persian Gulf.

“The enemy dispatched its most sophisticated . . . and most complicated surveillance aircraft” to spy on Iran, and “everyone saw the downing of the drone,” Rear Adm. Hossein Khanzadi said Monday, referring to the U.S. Navy RQ-4A Global Hawk drone shot down by Iran last week.

The incident capped a week of tensions following attacks on two commercial tankers near the Strait of Hormuz on June 13.The United States blamed the attacks on Iran, which has denied involvement.

150% plus tariffs. Whatever pays for 10 drones.. minimum. No flinching on getting our money back and thanking them for the other 9 that will be flying over them.
Next shoot down multiplies the sanctions/ tarrifs x 100. Put France n SA on notice also.

I think this POTUS has the situation well in hand, even though the policy might seem confused.

The sanctions are hurting. They need to be abused to prove to the world the US is the bully. Then sanction enforcement will be curtailed and Iran gets the relief it needs.

‘They have to be the dumbest mother ####ers on the planet.”

If Iran is nuked, or heavily bombed who do you think will survive? You know the Mullahs have bunkers. And don’t you think that they will have the means to retaliate? Maybe we can all find out. They might not be able tor reach CONUS but they can reach Israel and Saudi Arabia.

The Mullahs are cornered rats. Corned rats are dangerous rats. They aren’t just going to go down quietly in a coup or surrender.

Their export are down from 2.5mil BBL per day to 400k BBL per day. Many of their businesses and rich persons have been cut off from the international banking system, and there is very little, if any, outside investment.

They are in a certain death spiral.

Iran is acting RATIONALLY. Hoping they do not cross the line of war with the US.

They are turning up the heat in the Gulf in the hope that the international community will successfully pressure the US to LET UP.

It does seem that there are many on this thread that can’t resist the call to war. Herman Goering knew that.

“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.”

– Hermann Goering (as told to Gustav Gilbert during the Nuremberg trials).

Now I don’t think that Trump really wants war, but I doubt he is in full control of the situation.

NOT OUR JOB.

NOT OUR BATTLE.

NOT OUR BLOOD AND TREASURE THIS TIME.

We need to stop sending drones in the Iranian area...

OTHER COUNTRIES NEED TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE.

It’s not our job to protect oil tankers from other countries... WE HAVE OUR OIL LET THE WORLD PROTECT THEIR OWN SUPPLIES.

NOT OUR JOB. NOT OUR BATTLE. NOT OUR BLOOD AND TREASURE THIS TIME.

Iran needs and wants a hit. A hit by the US would allow them to mobilize the people. Currently most of the population seems against the guv. IMHO

Well thank God we are US CITIZENS and not SA or Israeli citizens.

Who gives a FLYING F### about a country that aided in killing 3000 US citizens?

As for Israel, they are more than capable of taking care of themselves.

You do know this is the US right, and OUR LIVES come first to our POTUS? Right?

What’s with the ####ing love of SA here??

Yeah oil prices will surge for a while, so let’s act like bitches and not take action.

I think Trump should fire about 25 missles into the desert surrounding Tehran just so the folks can see what would happen if they were fired into infrastructure.

The Strait of Hormuz ARE NOT our problem. We’ve got our oil and people dependent on oil from the Middle East need to deal with Iran.

It’s NOT our problem. Iran wants a confrontation - WANTS A CONFRONTATION.

That should be a hint to us - pull back the drones. Pull back the ‘military might’... don’t get tricked into a war we don’t want, need, or will support. If tankers get sunk allow the countries who own the tankers OR benefit from the oil DEAL WITH THE IRAN. IRAN’S NOT OUR PROBLEM.

Dear Iran,

It is now in your interest to see that our drones are not harmed. You got your one shot at it, be wise and knock it off.

The leadership of Iran is committed to their own annihilation as the presage to global catastrophe. As soon as they have nuclear capability they will use it.

Brilliant aren’t they? In a hole and just keep digging.

Our pilots put three bombs down an air vent about a meter square and they were set to detonate at a specific elevation in the building and did. Our airplanes were gone before the explosion.

Bet we can do even better on the second try.
