Weighing in on immigration before first Democratic debates, Joe Biden is proposing that Congress grant immediate citizenship to more than 800,000 U.S. residents who were brought to the country illegally as children.
The former vice president and Democratic polling leader introduced some of his immigration priorities Monday in a newspaper op-ed that blisters President Donald Trump for an “assault on the dignity” of the Latino community through policies and rhetoric designed to “scare voters” in 2020.
“Trump repeatedly invokes racist invective to describe anyone south of the Rio Grande,” Biden writes, assailing him for “actions that subvert our American values and our ability to lead on the global stage.”
Biden, who launched his 2020 campaign in April, calls for streamlining the asylum system for migrants and spending more on electronic security at borders instead of building Trump’s proposed U.S.-Mexico border wall. And he blasts Trump’s latest threats of mass deportation and his decision to cut aid to El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, three Central American nations that are sources of the increasing wave of migrants to the U.S. border. …

The implication Biden made was that Latino's ARE a different race. The overwhelming majority are of the Caucasoid race and thus the same race as Biden. He is injecting a lie into the dialogue that low-info types buy into hook, line, and sinker.
Where are the parents of the Dreamers? Round them all up, and the parents can bring them back down to Mexico.
EVERYTIME the ‘opposition’ brings up amnesty, citizenship, DACA, the Rs have to start screaming from the highest mountains that for every illegal that gets a bennie, an AMERICAN MINORITY gets knocked down a peg or two.
Once our ‘underclass(Black&White) realizes they are being REPLACED with illegals as far as housing, food stamps, medical etc etc, they may start waking up.
If BLM wants to take on a cause, this one is laying in front of them, ripe for the plucking.
I ‘know’ it may be ‘dangerous’ for a whole lot of solidarity in this case but remember, the longest journey starts with two steps.....

If you mean Black Lies Matter, they’re communists and only care about communism rather than benefiting any black lives, never mind the whole identity politics thing.
um, I think I am not interested in them sponsoring the parents who brought them here without permission & giving them citizenship. And ditto for the elder relatives still back home in the mothership, eligible for S.Sec and Medicare.

I understand that, just sayin if they want to ‘try & prove their worth(?)’ do something for their ‘community’ other than get ALL just more weeweed off at them.
I think Congress should immediately make Biden a Mexican citizen and withdraw his U.S. citizenship.
The same pack of lies told in the early '90s during the NAFTA debate. They told us NAFTA would greatly reduce illegal immigration from south of the border.
And here we are almost thirty years later with more illegal immigration than ever.
So, while legal immigrants have been working hard for years to earn their citizenship, Biden wants to let people who broke our laws, and flouted our rules, become citizens immediately, without even taking a test?
And the other old white liberal, Sanders, wants to laugh in the face of every hard-working american who realized that if they borrow money, they should repay it, by rewarding millions of kids who never want to pay back anything, and expect their parents to pay for their stuff, by forgiving THEIR college loans (loans which were created by democrats to pass federal money to their liberal friends in the colleges, to use to train a generation of america-hating, violent liberal warriers).
It’s a great gig — pass a law pretending to be helping kids. Kids take the loans, colleges raise tuitions accordingly, so all the fed dollars go to the colleges, which hire liberals and indoctrinate kids in useless stuff. Kids can’t get jobs, get mad about loans, then government forgives the loans — making the loans direct payments from the feds to the colleges.
We get something back from that investment if we send them back. They will have the ability to help solve their country’s economic and political problems.
