President Donald Trump said Saturday he's still considering military action against Iran after it downed an unmanned U.S. military aircraft, saying the use of force is "always on the table until we get this solved."
The president said he aborted a military strike set for Thursday after learning 150 people would be killed.
"I don't want to kill 150 Iranians. I don't want to kill 150 of anything or anybody unless it's absolutely necessary," he told reporters as he left the White House for a weekend at the Camp David presidential retreat.
Trump said "we very much appreciate" a decision by Iran's Revolutionary Guard not to shoot down a U.S. spy plane carrying more than 30 people. He said the downing of the U.S. drone was "probably intentional" — contradicting what he said Thursday.

From a strategic standpoint, there is absolutely no downside to his handling of this. Driving the Pundit-Media Complex crazy is an added bonus.
300 Mega Tons would be a good start. Then ask if they would like more. Nothing gets your attention faster then 12,000 degree Heat and Light flashes going off around you.

Besides, it would be best to use the hammer when their guard is down.
Trump knows it’s ridiculous to have nuclear weapons and not use them. I think most Trump supporters would love to see the US vaporize the place, but are afraid to say so. We should have used nukes in Vietnam.
Well thumbing his nose at the neocons is one thing but I think this was a huge mistake. Killing 150 Iranians is peanuts and those casualties would most likely have been military.
Sounds like a lame excuse.
