'Gagging' and 'dry-heaving': The left's love affair with its homeless

Shortened title.

Full title: 'Gagging' and 'dry-heaving': The left's love affair with public transit collides headlong into its homeless problem in Seattle

It's well-known that the left is all-in for forcing the public out of their cars and into public transit.

Green New Deal co-author Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, for example, is a big champion of public transit and calls for greater investment and spending on it to get the public to ride it, though in New York, she's taken flak for not doing it. She didn't mean herself.

Well, now we come to the reality of public transit, in ultra-blue Seattle, home to one of the nation's largest homeless communities. Jason Rantz at conservative 770 KTTH radio writes what it's like, quoting an actual complaint:

Every morning, I get off the bus at this stop to a line of tents and horrible smells. Other than the space the tents occupy on the sidewalk, I’ve actually never been bothered by the people. What kills me beyond anything I would have imagined however, is the smell.

Behind the tents is a sitting pool of water filled with garbage and most likely human waste. It has always bothered me, but upon getting off the bus one morning, I immediately began dry-heaving and gagging, as I couldn’t bear even finishing the bite of food I had in my mouth. It is completely disgusting and

Democrats love having lots of homeless people crowding the sidewalk.

They also love having garbage and human feces littering the sidewalks and streets.

The Democrat dependency class — they must have it to survive.

Then those who love it so much should themselves have to clean up the mess that they love.

A national shame. The Rats have no shame and they’ve pushed this evil trait on the population at large. Then they try to disarm good citizens while letting thugs out of jail. They don’t mind killing babies but want to eliminate the death penalty. There’s going to be hell to pay. Literally.

I think SF has six or seven 100k plus employees on a dedicated human feces washing detail.

Now here’s the irony in all this. The complaint in the article easily could have been:

While going to the polls to vote straight Democrat, I get off the bus at this stop to a line of tents and horrible smells.

Etc.

I remember how cracking down on vagrancy and panhandling and other things the homeless did on the streets got Rudy Giuliani on the left’s sh$tlist. But that helped to start the drop in crime in NYC that took place under his stewardship.

I remember listening to Michael Savage for a month or so back in the early 2000s.

He said that the crap on the streets of San Francisco was so dangerous, the city’s streetcleaners were adding bleach to the cleaning solution used in the tourist areas.

Just watched a special on silicon valley where a lot of folks are living in RVs or cars and tents.

And some of them work at places like Google.

Now if these oh so great SOBs like Google want to really be special, the’d do like George Westinghouse did. He built housing for his employees and sold them those houses at cost.

How bout that Google? Build housing and supply your employees and others that housing? I mean, you and your ilk like Facebook, etc, claim to have so much money you should do something.

The homeless are largely Feral human beings.

Give them a fishing pole, an axe and a spear, then cut off their EBT card.

They’ll get a job right quick or learn how to live like an actual caveman...which means they will move to the countryside...

I’ll bet the actual cavemen and their caves did not stink like our present day homeless.

They can all just use their cars. Problem solved.

Leave Mass Transit to the dregs of society since the Democrats want to keep them in one location.

I don’t think the homeless can get an EBT card

“they will move to the countryside...”

And out here, if they aren’t able to use that fishing pole, ax and spear to provide a shelter and food for themselves without trespassing, stealing or poaching-and/or they are willing to work, they will be in a bad way-there are no handouts here for the lazy-they will be lucky if someone calls the sheriff to remove them from the area-being removed by a resident will be much less pleasant for them...

Google could also buy an apartment house or two and rent them to employees at a very reasonable cost. But that would require Google to care about people instead of just virtue signaling

Ummmm I worked in Food Stamps in California and yes the homeless get food stamps. They used one post office as the address. General delivery. We called them GD’s. Now that there’s a card they can just load electronically it’s even easier. They used to have to go to the post office every month before the 10th to pick them up.

Yep, they can.

Use the P.O. for once a month delivery, a church or friends adress
