Alabama Republican Roy Moore has announced he is running for U.S. Senate again in 2020 after failing to win the seat two years ago amid sexual misconduct accusations.

Moore announced his campaign Thursday, seeking an eventual rematch against Democratic Sen. Doug Jones. The announcement upends an election viewed by Republicans as a top priority in 2020 and ignores President Donald Trump's warning that he "cannot win."

So. What. Says NOTHING about Roy Moore’s character. Moore is a good man. Doug Jones is a DEMONRAT, and the Republican Party helped him win.

Moore is a loser.

If Alabama Republicans allow this guy to be nominated again, say hello to Sen. Jones until 2026.

This seat is already lost.

Moore has been irredeemably Borked and Palinized and is finished as a major political candidate.

There was never any truth in the statements of Lying Demon Sluts but Moore showed himself incapable of handling the enemy.

He should not embarrass himself again and is incapable of fighting off the Presstitutes’ sure campaign of lies.

This shiite is even older than the Kavanaugh lies.

If he wins the Republican nomination, I expect something better than the disgraceful support thrown to his Democrat opponent the last go round.

That said, I think the campaign to discredit him was pretty thorough and Moore himself didn’t help, so his being the nominee is highly unlikely.

It’s a safe bet that the Washington Post is laying low until after the nomination. They want so desperately for Roy to win the republican nomination.

IF Roy was to somehow win the nomination, then they would bury him again.

AS AN ALABAMA VOTER, THERE IS NO CONDITION I WILL VOTE FOR THIS CLOWN.

He essentially missed his entire twenties, the prime dating window. Once he got back home, I assume that many of the women his age were already married, so he had to go younger to find a mate. Once he married, he stayed married for life.

That explanation fits his time line and makes sense to me. It was not the behavior of a deviant.

Exactly, but a lot of people have been told this is "creepy" by amoral liberal reporters from New York who didn't get upset when Jerry Seinfeld did much worse, and so they believe it.

Seinfeld 39.

Shoshanna Lonstein 17.

Tuberville has no business being in this thing. All he’s going to do is make it to where Roy can win the nomination and lose again. Also, we don’t want Roy running when there’s a national election because they media will try to make all republicans look like Roy Moore clowns.

Guilty or not, he is damaged goods.

I agree, and I wish he would change his mind about running, though it will tickle me to no end if he does in fact end up winning the thing. :)

If you start funding my candidacy, and then I say or do something asinine (or merely something you disagree with), you have every right to say ‘no more $$ for you” that very second (barring some sort of legal contract). And vice versa.

I don't think they pulled his funding over any particular thing that he said. They pulled his funding because a couple of kook women accused him of molesting one and attempting to rape the other, and the media amplified this to 11!

No one in the party stopped to ask "is this fair to Moore"?

When they did this same trick to Brett Kavanaugh, a lot of people caught on to this tactic of getting kook women to make false sexual accusations against Republicans.

Whether one agrees with USSC decisions or not, even a fool must conceded it’s the de facto law of the land.

No they are not the law of the land, they are decisions period. What about actual laws that Presidents do not enforce like say immigration? Are they the law of the land? No law is a law unless it is enforced and tons of them aren't or Hillary would be in jail.

He deserves our defense against the Lying Slut tactic now so important to the Demons who figured “well it worked against Moore, why not Kavanaugh.” The electorate should be reminded of what they did to him and tried to do with Judge K.

This, of course, requires a Trumpian attack on the Fake Media; it is what we are running against and that should never be forgotten.

The one advantage this time is that President Trump will be on
the ticket and not some special election to fill a vacant seat.
With that if Moore gets on the ticket he’ll have a different race
than the last time.

Whether one agrees with USSC decisions or not, even a fool must conceded it’s the de facto law of the land. If you doubt that, trying violating them and see what happens.

Slavery was the "law of the land." Rounding up Jews was the "law of the land."

Moral people do not respect laws simply because they are the "law of the land". Judicial decrees (which are not laws by the way) which contradict actual true laws should garner no respect from the people, and it is indeed long past the time we actively defied them!

Are we moral people or are we automatons to "process" ran by liars and imbeciles?

I don't give a crap what any court says when they try to lie to me and tell me made up bullsh*t like F@ggot Marriage is the "Law", when it is quite contrary to the ultimate law, which is "consent of the governed."

“I’ve known many Southerners and a lot of them, not all, are prideful and end up making bad decisions because of that trait.”

That is an amazingly dumb thing to say. Would not know where to start, so won’t try.

What is stopping Moore?

Nothing, he did file some. Clearly you didn't know that when you made your comment.

Trump will be on the ballet so republicans won’t be staying home like they did in the special election. How many Trump voters will vote for Doug Jones?

I would think that with Trump on the Ballot, whomever is the nominee will surely win.

But I am afraid to test this theory. I didn't expect the massive media onslaught to be successful last time, and so now I am more gunshy about the possibility.

I think they will unleash more and worse lies this second time around, and it might actually be possible for us to lose if Moore is the candidate.

But I will support whatever the people of Alabama chose to do.

He hasn’t won an election in over a decade.

So what Trump didn't win an election for seven decades?
