Although it would be ideal for most of this stuff to come back stateside, Mexico has no nukes pointed at us, has no designs for regional hegemony, doesn’t make laws telling women how many children they are allowed to have, does not setup phone “patriotic” versions of Christian churches, and needs resources to help her own people so that coming to the U.S. is not such a desirable option.
Even Malaysia, Vietnam and India upping their game means they have an opportunity to set up real supply chains and logistics, which is where Red China has had its advantage, not merely low labor costs. Once that know is untied, Red China loses all sorts of leverage on the world trade stage.
