The action camera company is moving the bulk of its production out of China to Mexico by mid-2019. It will still continue to manufacture its local products in the country.
Todays geopolitical business environment requires agility, GoPro CFO Brian McGee said in December. Were proactively addressing tariff concerns.

Steve Madden
The footwear and handbag maker, which ships the bulk of its goods from China, is shifting production to Cambodia. Executives at the Pawtucket, Rhode Island-based company previously said prices during the upcoming holiday shopping season would be higher as a result of the increased duties.
"We'd love to make shoes in the United States," CEO Ed Rosenfeld told NPR. But "it's very hard to envision a scenario where we'd make the types of products that we make, at the prices that we make them, in the United States."
Stanley Black & Decker
The firm is shifting production of its hallmark Craftsman brand to the U.S., where it is opening a new facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

Winning!
Something tells me they aren’t moving those factories back to the US.
Something like the article - which clearly states it. Those items can never be produced in the USA again unless the Cost of Democrats is severely cut.
Either way, if it defunds China and their military its good for America
You’re missing the point. Factories in Mexico will keep Mexicans in Mexico.
That something would be called "the article."
With the exception of Craftsman (shouldn't that be Craftsperson?), production from all of the companies in the article are moving to Mexico, India, and Vietnam.
So in return for Mexico’s cooperation w/border security they get Apple and Hasbro. That’s how to negotiate. Well done Mr. President.
They would put ‘Made in USA’ stickers of Chinese stuff in these facilities. Would make probably a dozen minimal wage jobs total.
Stanley moved to Texas...great news (wish they moved it to New Britain, but Texas is great news). Lots of businesses moving to Mexico...so Pedro, please stay in Mexico and get a job in your country...and don’t invade us...thank you...
But, we were told by our TSD infected freeper trolls, that our markets would crash and China would win the trade war and destroy America.
As usual their bs from the haters of America like the Koch and Chamber of Commerce thugs were wrong!
Out of China is a good first step...
Without the USA, china ain't nothing but chopsticks and male chinese looking for a plastic sex toy in order to have sex.
Where have all the ladies gone? Killing female babies and aborting female fetuses is bad long term planning.
Made is USA is what We-The-People demand. We have citizens who need manufacturing jobs; need them.
This tells me that Apple, Hasbro and Balck and Decker’s highly paid sources believe that it is likely that Trump is getting a second term, or at least the issue isn’t going away.
Although it would be ideal for most of this stuff to come back stateside, Mexico has no nukes pointed at us, has no designs for regional hegemony, doesn’t make laws telling women how many children they are allowed to have, does not setup phone “patriotic” versions of Christian churches, and needs resources to help her own people so that coming to the U.S. is not such a desirable option.
Even Malaysia, Vietnam and India upping their game means they have an opportunity to set up real supply chains and logistics, which is where Red China has had its advantage, not merely low labor costs. Once that know is untied, Red China loses all sorts of leverage on the world trade stage.
Well, whaddya know, tariffs work.
It’s a start.
Good move quality of Chinese made products suck.
The article states that Black & Decker is building a factory in the United States of America in Texas.
