HOLLYWOOD, January 11, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) It doesnt seem possible, but theres an actor in Hollywood who wont kiss his co-stars, let alone participate in steamy scenes. And, his principled stance has made trouble come his way.
Neal McDonough, 52, has worked on-screen since his television debut in 1991. Hes appeared in such television shows as Quantum Leap, NYPD Blue, Band of Brothers, and Desperate Housewives, and in such films as Minority Report and Captain America: The First Avenger. McDonough has also done voice work in cartoon films: he played Bruce Banner in The Incredible Hulk, for example.
But McDonough has recently made headlines for saying that he was cut from the starring role of 2010s TV comedy series Scoundrels because he wouldnt do a sex scene with his co-star Virginia Madsen.

I totally like this guy. Did not realize at all, his story.
Well, well done.
Wow.
So where’s the “MeToo” movement for rape in Hollywood snuf films that actors are coerced to perform or lose their jobs?
The show had every right to fire him. It was a one and done anyway. No loss to anyone.
Two words, Stand In.
7 seconds
Band of Brothers Hero!
That (may) be.
But he totally recovered, has five kids, a loving wife...
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift. UGH.
Used to like her.
He was outstanding in BOB. As were all of them, for that matter...back when HBO wasn’t producing so much filth as today.
One of the good guys in Hollywood.
Neal McDonough played a homicidal homosexual drug lord in “Justified’
He was very convincing.
Just saying.....
Great job as Lt Lynn “Buck” Compton in Band of Brothers...
Just started watching the series again for the umpteenth time...
Wow. Virginia Madsen, no less.
I recall Pat Boone telling the story about his first love scene with Shirley Jones. He didn’t want to kiss her because he was married. So he stopped the show to call his wife to get permission. It was cute.
Good for him.
The way Hollywood is today, I'd say this fellow is in the wrong business.
Yes..he was very convincing. I hated him and the other guy who worked for him.
Early on in his career, Patrick McGoohan decided to not kiss any women on screen, as he was married.
Yeah, he was.
Justified had alot of great characters,(Raylan Givens, Mags Bennett, Boyd Crowder, etc...) too bad it’s off the air but I’d rather have a series die an natural death than drag on and get ‘PC”. Like Walking Dead’ Ugh!
