Univision forecast: Latino vote will sink Trump in Florida (wrong in 2016, likely wrong in 2020)

Hillary Clinton will win the key swing state of Florida thanks to the Latino vote, a Univision News election forecast predicts. Without Florida's electoral votes, Trump can't win in November.

Donald Trump will lose the election in Florida - the swing state with the most electoral votes - because most Latinos won't vote for him, Univision News predicts.

As a result, it's virtually impossible for him to win the White House due to the electoral college system, according to a a Univision data analysis of the key five swing states expected to determine the outcome in November.

The forecast, based on a statistical analysis of the presidential race, found that Hillary Clinton will win 48.39% of the vote in Florida, versus 44.87% for Trump.

I read a story about Latino leaders sounding the alarm over Trump in 2020. After the 2016 election, CNN and others were stunned to hear that Florida Latinos "loved that he isn't politically correct."

"The bottom line is that they broke the law. When I came to this country, I came through the front door," Juan Torres, a Trump voter, told the CNNer.

So, when we read about how bad things are going to be for Trump in 2020, it's good to recall just how wrong some were in 2016.

Well, he’s done NOTHING about voter fraud. They are just letting the puerto ricans in, and have zero ballet security measures in place, despite the governor of floriduh almost getting his office stolen from him. Repugnic*nts never learn. I hope this is lies, but I will not be surprised if this next election is stolen out from under us like the midterms.

There are many more registered Republican voters in Florida now, in 2019, than there were in 2016. A lot more.

Also, if Trump lost Florida in 2016 he still would have had more than enough electoral votes to win the election.

The Governor has taken strong measures against fraud, including cleaning out Boward County.

I am presently visiting family in Osceola County in Central Florida. The area is teeming with Puerto Ricans. To my surprise, there are signs of prosperity and happiness, with new businesses filling up formerly empty storefronts and the crowds in the nearby WalMart without their former edginess. A month ago, by referendum, the voters in Osceola County vetoed a local option sales tax. It may be that the Hispanics in the area recognize that Trump and MAGA are working to their benefit and prefer to keep them in place.

They vote very liberal, and have been trained to hold a grudge for Trump’s “inaction” after the hurricane, even though he was the only one who actually did anything for them. Now 100,000 are in Florida. I suspect the democrats are working hard to see as many of them vote as possible, and I guarantee the Republican’ts are doing NOTHING to stop the democrats.

Change Hispanics to criminals. The new Florida law letting felons vote, including those still in prison as well as those released, means future Republican candidates for President and statewide office will have a much more difficult time winning.

Osceola County is a dump and a dem stronghold (see election results from last several cycles). We have had three generations of Puerto Rican migrants and they still disproportionately have low educational achievement and economic success in my part of the country.

Better luck with the Colombians and Venezuelans, who are more economically successful, with the latter refugees from socialism. They are also blocked from power by the Jewish/black Democratic coalition that dominates politics in Broward and Palm Beach counties and if the GOP had any stones they could play that angle.

Need conservative Latino TV and Radio. Call it Libertad focus on Roman Catholic ideas, Music of Latin America and Cuba as well as Spain. Then 24-7 Pro GOP and Pro Trump. Latinos will gravitate to the Right. What do they think of abortion? They hate it! What do they think of Gay Rights, they don’t like em.
They like a strong leader like Trump—A Generalissimo. They are not into “women’s Rights.”

It would be awful for the third world immigrants to vote us into becoming like Cuba or Venezuela or Somalia... Media players are going to be killed right along with preachers and business owners. America, Repent, while it is possible.

Puerto Ricans are American citizens. They have the right to vote.
