Remember the obama kid shoes and Ted Cruz handing out teddy bears on the border. Our politicians go down there long enough for photo ops but they need to stay six months to understand the real damage.

it REQUIRES direct blood/feces/urine contact. Third world countries BIG problem, USA not so much

Some US populations come in contact with that stuff on a regular basis.

Read between the lines of my answer, and you might catch my meaning.

Hmm. Wasn’t there a big fuss several years back because nurses were catching Ebola due to inadequate protection? As I recall, droplets from coughs or sneezing were very dangerous. And now of course we have cities littered with feces and needles. Did you know that when junkies shoot up there is blood spatter? So now we have people entering our country from Ebola hotspots. And you aren’t worried? You are delusional. These people are being brought here deliberately by forces working against our country. Recent efforts to shut off the financing of the traffickers shows their money is coming in part from the US and U.K.

It’s frightening. Sometimes, I’m glad to be a hermit.

And what is stopping several of these weapons entering and infecting food in fast food restaurants, popular beverages beer wine and soda production, blood supplies, area hospitals, large stadiums, malls, children’s pediatric doctors offices, play grounds, public swimming pools, schools. This is diabolical and evil

There is no known risk of becoming infected with Ebola virus through casual contact with a survivor. However, the virus can remain in certain bodily fluids and continue to spread to others after a person has recovered from the infection. The virus can persist in semen, breast milk, ocular (eye) fluid, and spinal column fluid.

The bottom line is that it is highly unlikely that any of these individuals will spread Ebola in the US. They are much more likely to spread any number of other communicable diseases that represent a far greater threat.

I have lots of concerns regarding Congolese migrants entering TX. However, for the time being, Ebola is not one of them...I think there is a lot of misinformation being reported.

The article states these are migrants entering TX from Congo—and I have heard San Antonio is looking for French interpreters, so I do believe some of the 350 have just arrived from Africa, not remnants from RIO Olympics.

However, there are 2 African countries with “Congo” in their name as noted in map below.

https://geology.com/world/africa-satellite-image.shtml

The chart linked from the American Thinker article is showing Ebola cases from DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO, not Congo (The Republic of Congo).

https://www.axios.com/ebola-cases-deaths-democratic-republic-congo-c5bd694f-61d8-4049-b838-cc3b1e9a3144.html

They are not the same country, and there are not outbreaks reported in Congo~at least not yet tho that is not to say Ebola won’t jump the borders in the future.

So far the Congolese we are apprehending are all spanish speakers indicating that they are from RIO

What does that mean? They claim to have come from Rio? BTW Portuguese is the language of Brazil.

Obama would say that ebola is the “new normal.”

I was thinking that ebola would be a perfect reason to militarize the border.

You would think so! Can you imagine if just one case is reported on mainstream media channels? Trump’s fault, etc...IMHO He really should declare a National security emergency.

Well, we’ve already had a scare; but the news drops things as soon as a new thing comes along.

I felt bad for that young nurse who was called to a ‘command performance’ in the Oval, right after she got out of the hospital.

I have read that those who were “cured” have issues they will be dealing with rest of their lives.

Yes, media moves on—but like the border even tho not covering it, the story continues!

I don’t understand the reluctance to call a National Emergency and put troops and wire fencing on border...As I said, if any Ebola cases start popping up where the invaders have been shipped, there will be never-ending blame directed towards Trump by the swamp and mainstream media...
