off topic but related: I just read a piece about Michigan, the ‘Mitten state” (obviously because of it’s shape). Romney was born there. Whadda’ ya think ?
Thought he was born in Mejico where his father lived in some sort of Mormon commune.
Romney was born to American parents living in the Mormon colonies in Mexico; events during the Mexican Revolution forced his family to flee back to the United States when he was a child. The family lived in several states and ended up in Salt Lake City, Utah, where they struggled during the Great Depression.
I had a couple of such charges last month, while on a trip away from home. They were suspicious enough that the credit card company called me on my cell phone. It turned out that they were from a Subway and a gas station, both of which I had visited. The credit card company explained that they were tests by the vendor to see if the card was valid before they would allow the larger purchase. The total was not effected.
I am surprised that this is not explained more clearly on the invoice.
I wonder if Mitt will be attending this yearly function?

Excellent and poignant summary of the heroism our president reminded today’s wannabe leaders of in their fake attempt to display an ounce of the reality of the fragility of life and freedom.
My dad was a Navy medic at Normandy on that day, he shared that it took 11 waves of amphibious vehicles before the breakthrough occurred. Even then the number of bodies in the water made it hard to perceive. His assignment was to determine who would be treated out of the wounded or who were beyond that point. A hard decision for a 19 year old that stayed with him throughout his 90 years on earth.
He passed before ever getting to see the rise of a real leader in Donald Trump and certainly would stand with him as he battles the new tyranny of the left and todays media.
RIP Dad your efforts were not in vein , a new leader with the vision of those you followed is here to save us

How about simply calling the CC company and ask for an explanation? If they are not legitimate, if you weren’t advised of them before the purchase they will be removed.
