Republican Lawmakers Refuse to Support Trump or His Voters — Is It Time for a New Party?
GP ^ | June 7,2019 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 06/07/2019 12:15:08 PM PDT by Hojczyk

The Republican Party never much liked Donald Trump or what he represented.

The GOP and establishment conservative groups never much liked Trump’s supporters.

Republicans were fine at cowering behind their desks at the first sign of adversity. They were used to making promises and not following through. They were happy to cede power to a radical fascist left that continues to tear away at the fabric of this great nation.

When Trump won Paul Ryan said he would build a wall. Paul Ryan lied… repeatedly. He never had any intention of building a wall.

Either did Mitch McConnell.

When Trump declared a national emergency at the border 12 Senate Republicans voted against him. TWELVE!

In May GOP senators killed off Trump supporter Steve Moore’s nomination to the Federal Reserve Board.

They said they would not support tariffs on our southern enemy. They won’t support this president.

But the worst abuses are on the US Constitution.

Since 2016 the far left tech giants and radical liberal groups have been eliminating conservative voices online. They are harassing companies to remove advertising from conservative platforms and FOX News shows. Hundreds of conservatives have been affected.

The left is using fascist tactics to rid the internet of conservative voices. And NO ONE IS DOING ANYTHING TO STOP THEM!

No one.

When conservatives were kicked off YouTube or Twitter or Facebook the GOP said nothing and did nothing.

When Trump supporters get their ass kicked by an Antifa mob, Republicans do nothing.

It is clear the Republican Party is AWOL. They are like a shell company. Just a name and nothing else.

Maybe it’s time to think about a new movement? Maybe it’s time to Brexit the GOP?

When people continue to show you who they are, believe them.

Better for Trump people to take over the GOP and kick the bastards out.

I’ve been saying for a long time that we need a new Trump party!

A blanket party for some and a necktie party for the worst of them.

The Repukes don’t have the votes to stop Trump’s tariff on Mexico.

MUCH BETTER, less expensive, no devastating 10 year transition period where dems end up controlling house and senate, much more achievable.

We just need to turn out in the primaries BIG.

Get some kind of organized ground game going.

And NO, I don’t know how to do ANY of the above :)

A new party?

We DID that back in 2016 when we elected Trump

We did an end run on the GOP and they’re just sick about it.

There is only one party in DC. And the job of its members is to remain at the trough for as long as possible.

moronic. try this one, and we’re guaranteed president kamala harris (or whatever) and democrat supermajorities in both houses of congress. then not only will your health care get hijacked, but they’ll confiscate your 401K plan and the government will manage that for you, as well.

third party fetishists are infantile; they are attractive only because they are, by definition, free from the guilt of any perceived past sin. they’re imaginary, so they’re perfect.

this is a position advocated by the delusional and the idiotic.

Trump could switch to any other party and still win in a landslide.

He could probably run in all major parties at the same time and still win.

I am looking for a Reagan/Mondale type landslide.

We tried with the tea party and it was instantly infiltrated by shills like Cruz, Ryan, Rubio and Haley.

It's a much different country today than in 1984.

It’s too late.

We are enslaved in every way except our votes and our guns.
The voting will become useless, then the gun owners will be eliminated.

Everyone will cower in their own little corner of paradise counting on not be the next victim.

All because we should have shot the bastards already.

That's what Ross Perot was all about. How did that work out for us?

What person who as speaker of the house, after 8 years in the wilderness under Obama, what person would “retire” in the middle of his President's first term? The “R”s had the Presidency, the House, The Senate.

Not only did Paul Ryan lie continually to this country, when he “retired” he encouraged 40 of his Republican colleagues to join him. Unprecedented. 40 grown men bailing on their country when they were needed most. It was these retirements which cost Donald Trump his Republican majority. Everyone who retired is to blame for the border crisis. Every single one.
