A Texas school district has fired a high school teacher who tweeted to US President Donald Trump to ask for help reporting illegal immigrant students.
Georgia Clark, an English teacher in Fort Worth, complained on 17 May about "illegal students from Mexico", adding: "I need protection from recrimination".

No surprise here.

And again - illegal immigrants have more rights and liberties than actual citizens.

So it’s almost a crime now to even talk about illegal aliens.

if enough parents show up at the school board meeting and tell them that unless the teacher is reinstated they will be recalled. Action would be taken

I wonder if teaching about this book could still get a teacher fired in Texas (or any other state for that matter)?

She has the explicit First Amendment right of petition for redress of grievances. She will get a lawyer and sue the hell out of them and win.

Is there no end to this liberal concept that defending our country against illegals and outsiders and law breakers requires citizens who support it to be punished? We need to stand up and protest in mass.

We are slowly sinking. Rome did not die suddenly. There came day when there were more slaves than citizens. Our situation of having lost control of our borders is going to ruin us. No free speech since there are things you cannot say

I’m slackjawed! Texas used to be a state that stood for truth and right and law ‘n order. Now they’ve gotten so wimpy and politically correct. I’d describe it as “Southwest New Jersey” from now on. Texas is one of the four states I’ve never visited. Crap like this squelches any desire I might have had.

I guess its ok for bank robbers to be in class too? It is if a crime cartel has sufficient leverage over the local controlling authorities.

If you understand that the genesis of modern left-wing ideology was explicit anti-American and anti-Western civilization individuals, then the answer to your question presents itself.
The last few generations of this country have literally been indoctrinated to despise their own people and culture.

She has the explicit First Amendment right of petition for redress of grievances. She will get a lawyer and sue the hell out of them and win. I hope she does. The district will use the defense that her actions negatively affected her ability to do her job. However, since her issue was just as much political as it was personal, she would have a very strong case. School districts have no restraint when it comes to trampling on employees and parents rights. After all, they get to fund their defense with taxpayer money! If enough taxpayers put enough heat on school districts, this nonsense would stop.
