And they will destroy anyone who says anything counter to it. And we’re talking JUST WORDS, not actions. It’s religion. And they are devout.

They are Nazis and we are Jews, and I think people who are saying "He shouldn't disrespect his employer in public" have a very naive understanding of the situation.

They are trying to kill us. Events like these are just the forerunner of what shall grow to be a new Holocaust if we don't stop these bastards before they get that far.

If communications and speech are your business, you can’t pick and choose. You can’t even do it if cake is your business.

Agreed. Independent of his arguments, which seem 100% valid, you can't go on TV and mock your employer.

So telling the truth about them is mocking them? You’re saying there’s no protection for a whistleblower?

Harmeet Dhillon

She's wonderful. The problem I see is that millions of conservative users will be offline for the 2020 election as any potential suit weaves thru court. And this is their strategy; remove Trump by any and all means, then worry about regulation & settlements later.

Just as private companies should not be able to discriminate against religion they should not be able to discriminate against political views.

If a VP in the Trump Organization went on CNN and complained about the MAGA work environment and how uncomfortable it made him feel do you think Trump should be prohibited from firing or demoting him?

This was nothing.

An epic dis was the retirement letter that 1SG Dennis Carter wrote requesting retirement from the TN-NG.

He called out his commanding officer, saying his leadership style is so toxic that the colonel should change his SSN to the Poison Control Center number in Atlanta.

Communications systems are a special case. They are as essential to the proper operation of our society as is water.

Would you tolerate any private company controlling water?

Nor should we tolerate any private company controlling the flow of public speech.

Let's stay on topic for a second.

Are you saying that if Trump starts Trump TV, and has a VP go on CNN disparaging the company, that he can't fire that employee?

That may be your topic, but my topic is the notion that the USA cannot survive if private companies are allowed to engage in censorship of public speech.

This is most especially critical when the entire mass communications universe out there is in the hands of liberals.

From my perspective, you are advocating suicide. First national suicide, and eventually literal suicide for each and every one of us who will not exist under the new regime thus brought to power.

Google is no friend to traditional American values. But their repeated efforts to stifle legitimate debate on relevant issues, loudly proclaims their intellectual inadequacy. They may be experts at on line manipulation; but any intelligent High School Conservative would be more than a match in a serious ideological debate with those who make these policy decisions. Far more than just a match!

Google is going to be investigated for anti trust activities. That makes this engineer a whistle blower.

It's not my topic, it's the topic of the thread.

You refuse to say if Trump could fire one of his employees for speaking out (assuming Trump TV). Why?

I don't refuse, I ignore, and I do so because I consider it trivial compared to the importance of the serious issue involved.

But just to address this point for a moment, it is my understanding that Google-Nazi solicited this commentary, and then fired the man for saying what he thought.

Not a comparable analogy for what you are suggesting with VP Pence and CNN.

I do not know about you, but for many years of my life I have read books about what happened in the lead up to world war II, and everything about this has the feel of "Untermenschen" and "Gleichschaltung".

You need to read some books on the rise of Nazism, and you very much need to learn what was the relationship between Corporate Power and the National Socialist state.

Perhaps history will open your eyes where no amount of reasoning or presentation of abuses will wake you up.

Study the Nazis, and what they did to the Jews before they started sending them to camps.
