Yeah, and when McCain used to toss Reagan’s name out, I’d cringe.
Tariffs are a means to tariff-less and fair free trade George and you know it damn well but choose to obfuscate . We’re not listening.
George Will is starting the final explosive-diarrhea-of-the-mouth stage of TDS.
That beats the heck out of what it was ... a cult of globalism.
George Will used to write columns about baseball which weren't bad.
The reality of "free trade" is abandoned factories and mills and loss of thousands upon thousands of jobs and the decimation of the middle class:
I get where old school conservatives are frustrated by aspects of President Trump. But I cannot imagine looking out at the political landscape, seeing the clown show that is the Democratic Party, and spending more than a nanosecond attacking our own side.
Conservative columnist and author George Will
Ha!
Ha ha!
Ha ha ha ha!
Ha ha ha ha ha!
ROTFLMAO!
OMG! I dont care watcha say, that theres FUNNY!
It must get really lonely in George’s world now that no one wants to talk to him.
What/who funded our federal government up to the early 1900s, before the income tax?
Bitter, angry, deep state never Trumper once considered a conservative.
At this point in his waning sellout career, Im hard-pressed to recall why.
*Would you like to buy a consonant?
Dats as far as I got.
Honest question here, no sarcasm. I know nothing of Trotsky and I wondered why you called them “Neo-Trotskyites”?
It’s now George Won’t.....
True.
Actually George Will is a Democrat, according to my definition of a Democrat, which I formulated after watching Democrat Federal judge-presidents run the country for the last 3 years.
"If you're OK with a Democrat being appointed as a judge to the Federal courts, you're a Democrat"
The fact that the southern border has turned into a vehicle for mass invasion of muslim terrorists and the rise of china posing an existential threat to western civilization has somehow completely escaped his octogenarian ability to notice.
As one of the few people here that did not vote for Trump ( though at this point, probably will in 2020), I just have to say that George Will is such a disappointment. I thought the guy was brilliant 30 years ago, though that might have been because were both Cub fans with a Michigan connection.
I understand that George often chafes at Trumps style and tweets, as do I. But in the end its the policies that matter, and when the President is fighting ( in his odd but darn entertaining way) for 75-80% of what I believe in, how can I not vote for him? He has stayed true, largely, to his conservative positions, which I thought, erroneously, he would not do. George has allowed his feelings about niceties to overcome his rational mind.
Has Trump violated the Constitution? No. It isnt as if every President hasnt fought hard and thrown some mud in a campaign. Politics is and always will be a rough sport, its time for us to recognize its a Republic of Grouchy Sinners. But a fine Republic it has been, and can still be. Wake up George, its time for T and crumpets, be happy.
I think Will’s four-star status ended around 2010 to 2012. There are several journalists and commentators who want to remain of significance so they convert themselves into ‘talking dogs’....saying just about anything that will get them air-time.
