I actually winced when he said she was probably a better negotiator than he, as nobody believes he thinks that, and again when he talked about her deal being all teed up, as if he was endorsing that. Unfortunately he is too often swayed by whomever he has met with last, and in that case it was the PM of the UK who was clearly coached to be strategic in how she flattered him—such as congratulating him on his quick action in respond to what actually were a couple of false flags—the supposed Ruskie poisoning in the UK and the supposed gassings in Syria.

I thought, at the point he was praising her Brexit negotiations, that she had teared up a little in her eyes. No tears dropped; but, I thought she got a bit emotional.
