The Democrat Party defended slavery — even to the point of starting a Civil War to preserve it. Republicans won that civil war and ended slavery.
After they lost the Civil War, the Democrat Party enacted Jim Crow laws to keep Black Americans down — and even sent lynch mobs out to terrorize any “uppity” citizens who wanted equal justice. So Republicans had to root out the KKK and end the Jim Crow laws.
The Democrat Party then instituted “separate-but-equal” segregation. Republicans had to end this deceptive “policy” also.
And so now we see that the Democrat Party is pushing “self-segregation”. It seems clear that the racists who run the Democrat Party just do not give up...
IMHO, if Gillibrand does NOT know the history of her party, then she is ignorant.

wimpy Chris allowed her to bash FOX and he didn't get her to answer any of the questions, she danced around them all refusing to directly answer people's questions. She refused to answer if she supported third term abortions. She didn't answer why she flip flops on gun rights.
With most politicians, and dems/liberals in particular, its all about how they can snow the audience. Skittles and rainbows and free phones for everyone. Unfortunately the audience is often that stupid.
Come on now. She can bend like a blade of grass in the wind. That talent can actually come in handy in certain circumstances. But obviously, not this one. Lol.
