It will be necessary for ambulances to station at all the media studios today for all the Anti-Trump overdose calls. With NORK purges, Chinese import tariffs, Mexican export tariffs, Mueller self destruction, Barr anti-spying, and more, to hyperventilate over, the pundits won’t be able to breathe in. I hope some Freeper has the courage to listen, and let the rest of us know who survives.

Elizabeth Warren wants to impose an accumulated wealth tax on Americans. Rather than start with a tax on all Americans, I counter-propose a focused accumulated wealth tax on a control group; any career/lifer politician or federal bureaucrat with more than 10 years of accumulated time on the payroll. (If you leave before the 10 years are up and come back, it still all counts as one length of service - no re-starts).

File the return within 3.5 months of the 10-year anniversary date, 3.5 months after the 11-year anniversary, and so on. No extensions.

A simple measurement - what was your net worth before you got to DC? What was it on the 10-year anniversary? Pay X.X % of the difference. Fits on a postcard.

Of course, we have to have a cracker-jack team of forensic accountants and proctologists ready to audit these returns, and each one should be audited. The cost of these audits would be added to the tax each filer pays.

What should the rate be? Oh, we can have somebody with America's best interest at heart pick that number. How about Bernie Sanders? We also need to consider if there should be a tax on accumulated wealth of the extended family (like a Hunter Biden Ukraine expert fee).

Give it a 50 year life to see if it works, make it retroactive to the day before Joe Biden first took office in the Senate, and let's make taxing wealth great again!

When you right down to it, our government is no different from ancient and medieval examples. Senator kills Caesar, CIA kills president, same thing.

That people in the government are working outside the system, at EXTREME levels, is normal human conduct. What is interesting to me is that a substantial fraction of the public is in favor of this. See all of the press and most of the DEMs.

Not only does Obama claim wrongly that our country was born on inequality, this idiot claimed it was the Constitution and NOT the Declaration of Independence that said: “We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal..."#Moron

Wonder how many Tea Party groups were spied on? If you went to the rallies the buildings were covered with FBI snipers and cameras.

From your link Rock:

https://www.oann.com/rep-nunes-mueller-appearance-meant-to-light-the-fuse-for-impeachment/

Rockstar Devin Nunes has Mueller's number. His ten minute speech was all about giving the hard left an excuse to start the impeachment process. Was it all pre-planned within the deep state: inquring minds......

Congressman Devin Nunes is demanding the complete release of all underlying documentation from the Mueller probe. Rep. Devin Nunes speaks at CPAC in National Harbor, Md., February 24, 2018. (Joshua Roberts/Reuters) The California lawmaker made the demand Friday, saying the backup and source documents could provide additional information which Mueller may have left out of his report. On Thursday, Nunes criticized Mueller for touting the amount of Russian prosecutions his investigation netted, without mentioning Democrats and the Clinton campaign’s ties to Moscow. Nunes went on to say, Mueller was dishonest in saying his department could not indict a sitting president, and said if it were true, the president should have “been done after day two.”

I read the article at the link.

First, this was back around the early 70’s...I was born in 1950 so I was in my early 20’s.

Freezing my wages, a hard-working keypunch operator, seemed like punishment to me that I did not deserve.

Again, what the hell was Nixon thinking to slap a middle-class young woman with frozen wages? Why would any Republican vote for such a thing?

My promotion came during this wage freeze...to, of all things, PAYROLL!!!!! I had to freeze my own damn wages.

Like I say, it didn’t last long. And I knew nothing about that Economic Stabilization Act. I came to be interested in politics with Nixon and now know a lot about Watergate, having read many books.

But that short period of time when this country froze my wages, damn I was making about $20,000 a year at that time, good wages in my day.

Why was I being punished? What was my sin?

Wish I knew.I’m just showing what’s out there. Hard to tell anymore who’s straight and who is not.I go with actions any more. Especially Baar whose actions seem straight forward going after bad guys,so far.We want to know who is doing what.Seems Sessions could have been on the deep state payroll. Ehat did he do? As far as we know, not much. Huber evidently not much, unless someone else knows what we missed.

Mick Mulvaney on now with wall ass trying to explain what Trump is doing to the biased driveby wannabe.Wall Ass clearly does not get it. Trump has fixed Mexico’s sorry ass big time. They now will have to choose between obeying the cartels or Trump. My guess is Trump will win.

I am convinced that Sessions was under someone’s thumb.

“Here’s what we want you to do,” Jeff heard during his regular meeting with his FBI contact.

“You’re doing a fine job looking all admiring of Trump, being by his side. It’s all part of the plan, and if you keep it up, no pictures of your son found during that recent drug raid will ever be published.”

Jeff shrugged. He enjoyed his life in congress and while he really liked Trump, he didn’t like the guy more than his son.

“And if, and this is a big, unlikely if, Trump gets elected, you must, you simply MUST recuse yourself from any inside jobs a grateful Trump would give you. You okay with that?”

Jeff smiled. He would love a position as AG and he’s spent many minutes artfully suggesting such a thing to then presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Sessions knew he was part of the insurance to get Trump out of the way.

I do not think Sessions was innocent in any of this. In fact I think there are many others guilty of participating in this coup, to include maybe Romney, McCain for sure.

There will be many surprises if this investigation goes the full route.

I wasn't trying to justify what Nixon did, I think it was stupid, to put a nice label on what I really think. Just adding that he froze prices too (which stinks if you are the seller), AND, his actions were enabled by the totally derelict Congress. A pox on all of them. The federal government needs to be knocked off its high perch. It is so far out of constitutional boundaries, and of course it (all branches of it) claim they are well within the boundaries.

Why are we all being punished by an overbearing, dishonest, inefficient, and in many ways corrupt government? I dunno - but the people put up with it.

Yesterday morning a staff writer from NewRepublic.com was on the morning C-Span talk show, complaining that the IRS does not perform enough audits. He pointed out that the highest % of audits was not in Manhattan, but in some poor county in Mississippi. So why would that be?

Okay, let's start with rich people. Name a rich person gazzilionare, like Warren Buffet or Bill Gates. Do you think they download Turbo Tax onto a laptop and sit the kitchen table entering numbers from a pile of paper into a program? More likely, they hire a team of highly paid, highly skilled professional tax preparers to prepare the return. So the likelihood of inadvertent clerical errors, or deliberate omission or misstatement is greatly reduced. As a result, the IRS will audit some % of rich people to keep everybody honest, but the most common result will come from a difference in interpretation of some obscure regulation.

On the other hand, what is the most common abuse of the Internal Revenue Code? Earned Income Tax Credit, which is claimed by poor people, not gazillionares. Followed by false claims of dependents, and then by American Opportunity Credits (the original AOC). Again, the returns of rich people don't include EITC, and a professional preparer will do the due diligence on dependent claims and AOC. The primary source of abuse of those things is in the less affluent community, which would point professional auditors in that direction.

Now, an actual investigative reporter would know all this, or find out about it before making a comment on a TV show. But, a political hack who works for a politically oriented magazine with an agenda apparently is not required to have an intelligent comment to make, just something that advances the agenda. And this example is how Fake News happens.

Good post fish! Seems like more and more is coming out every day I guess we shall see:

Meanwhile, has Trump figured out how to pay for the wall? Seems breitbart thinks so:

https://www.teaparty.org/trump-just-found-a-way-to-make-mexico-pay-for-the-wall-365185/

(Breitbart) – President Donald Trump may have found a way to fulfill one of the more ambitious — and controversial — pledges from his 2016 campaign: making Mexico pay for the wall.

On Thursday, hours after Trump tweeted that the U.S. Border Patrol had apprehended a record number of illegal migrants, the president announced that he would impose a 5% tariff on all imports from Mexico, increasing over time, until the Mexican government stopped the migrant flow from Central America.

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump

On June 10th, the United States will impose a 5% Tariff on all goods coming into our Country from Mexico, until such time as illegal migrants coming through Mexico, and into our Country, STOP. The Tariff will gradually increase until the Illegal Immigration problem is remedied,..
