There it is. Much ado about nothing. Same with the article yesterday about a dog named Mueller but in the end you find out the name had nothing to do with evil Bob Mueller.
Maybe one of these days someone with a name will actually state the truth about what really happened — if anything. And frankly, with all the problems in the world which threaten us, this is at the bottom of my list of things to freak out about.
I agree that Democrats are in the Executive Branch specifically to undermine POTUS, but the Civil Service rules may be a problem for him.
It is very difficult to fire GS workers below the GS-16 level.
You will note that EVERY Republican President since WW II has had that problem - the Democrats “burrow in” and stay behind to bedevil succeeding Republican Presidents.
For at least two reasons, Republicans do not stick around when a Democrat wins the White House: 1)Republicans do not like working for Democrats, and 2) Republicans do not “burrow in” to sabotage Democrat Presidents like Democrats do.
President Trump has managed to rid himself of a lot of “leakers” and Democrat AND Republican “Never Trumpers,” but he still must deal with them.
I am confident that he will prevail! And we all must hope so!

Means the e-mail from the White House military office went to some LT-LTC (O-3, O-4). When the word went up the chain of command to a Captain-Rear Admiral (O-6, O-7) they told them we’re not doing that.
This tells me that the suggestion didn’t originate with the President. An O-5 or O-6 is not going to disregard a suggestion from the President. Some minor functionary in the WHMO got the idea that the McCain should be out of site and did this on their own. They should be fired. The ship is named after three generations of naval officers who served honorably, no matter what we think ofJohn McCain’s actions as a politician. This was a slap in the face to them and the crew.

It either suggests that the President himself ordered it through the White House Military Office which is disgraceful or that someone underneath the President ordered it without the President’s approval, —in which case Trump employs staffers who are either incompetent or deliberately trying to make him look bad.

I would imagine this whole fiasco started by some GS1 seeing a message from Japan and learning the USS McCain is in Yokosuka took it upon himself to insure the President wouldn’t be embarrassed by having the ship in view.

Another newsmaker yesterday was the ‘accusation’ and ensuing investigation about two Air Force pilots, in a simulated dog fight exercise, SOMEHOW made penis shaped contrails while maneuvering.
To ‘quote’ Dave Winfield former Yankee who happened to hit a flying sea gull with a baseball, got banned from Canada for the remainder of the season (to avoid being charged with animal cruelty/murder) had said if I could aim at a flying bird and kill him with a thrown baseball, I may be in the wrong business.
To have an investigation and I would imagine disciplinary action(??) is ludicrous to say the least.
Wonder how all these snowflakes would react to the nose art and autographed bombs that were dropped on the enemy in WWII....
The contrail tale reminds me of the shrink showing ink blots to a patient and every one the guy says reminds him of sex of one form or another.
