Palestinian Authority (PA) cabinet leader Mohammad Shtayyeh is calling on members of the US Congress to sound their voices in order to save the two-state solution.
In a meeting in Ramallah on Thursday with Congressman Eliot Engel, who heads the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Shtayyeh stressed the importance of congressional pressure on the Trump administration to lift the sanctions on the PA and put an end to what he called the economic war against the PA. [ ]
Israel, he claimed, has violated all the agreements it signed, and in particular the Paris Agreement (the economic agreement), when it offset the salaries of terrorists from the tax funds it collects on behalf of the PA.

Yep, that 2 state solution sure is moving right along :)
I cant say what I really thank of these A holes.
Am I reading this right? Eliot Engel, a Jew from NY, is meeting with the Palestinians, who have just recently launched rockets into Israel? And the Palestinians are meeting with and asking for help from a Jew from NYC?
We live in a truly f*cked up world? Talk about taqiya to the Nth degree....WOW!!!
Liberal Jews are no more Jewish than liberal Christians are Christian.
True....But, a Jewish guy is a Jewish guy. And now the Palestinians, who have made it their mission in life to destroy the Jew, is meeting with asking the Jew for help.
They know who the self-haters are.
The related problem here is that people like neo-national-socialists (who share much of their ideology with the Mahometan terrorists) like to promulgate the false notion of atheistic communism being concocted by Jews merely because Karl Marx was descended from a Jewish rabbi of Trier in Germany (his grandfather). However, Georg Hegel had no such descent from Jews, nor did “Gracchus” Babeuf.
We’re probably just weeks away from Trump/Jared unveiling their “Deal of the Century” peace plan. This guy’s timing is no coincidence. But, with Netanyahu unable to form a government and new elections coming it may be delayed a bit.
Trump has been particularly blunt in his dealings with the PA. His admin is now even calling to shutter UNRWA. He’s putting the squeeze on, and it seems likely he’s got the backing of Saudi and Egypt whatever the details may be.
It’s moving along at the perfect pace - long enough for a bunch of 2nd rate wannabe European diplomats to earn their pensions.
They know the two state solution is just about dead. Trump wants to lift the Palestinians out of poverty. A happy people are less likely to be revolutionary. The PA want there people to remain poor and hungry and angry at the Jews. My bet Trump has a win with those Arabs outside of Israel and divides them temporarily at least.
Just when you thought it was bad that the Democrat party is mirroring the Chinese communist party, along comes them paling around with Hamas and co. !
Nice to see our funding of the PA to come back here as lobby money.
...and meeting with success along the way. Simply astounding, but perhaps not when put in perspective.
pigastinians call on dhimmicrat allies.
The Palestinian “two-state” solution is a bald faced lie. In reality, it’s a one-state solution, Palestine only, with Israel gone. Hopefully, most rational congressmen understand this.
Precisely! Ill be more generous than that. Pick any Muslim or Arab state and go! Youll be much happier there.
That's fine, the PA calls on people to do all kinds of things. I'm sure the anti-Israel left in Congress will have a big impact.
