Mexico watched Trump follow through on his threat to add tariffs to Chinese goods.

They know he is serious.

So have other nations.

“The real target for pressure is still Congress. Trump is pressuring the companies that control Democrats and Republicans who block immigration reform.

.......

Interesting take on this.

LOL, they are slimy. It’s hard to hold them once they are peeled. I like them on my lunch salad but I can eat them plain. I don’t know why people wouldn’t like them, except for them being slimy. They don’t have that much taste. They are healthy though. They are high in calories but have a lot of the good fats. My doctor recommended them so I eat one a day. I have come to really like them. I guess they have to grow on you. :-)

They sure do! I have bought them from both of those states. It depends on which brand you buy. I like the small ones in a bag for kids and I think they are from Mexico. I’ll check when I get groceries and will look for the US grown varieties instead.

Put a bunch of these on top of the wall every mile or so, facing south

Can't believe that it took 40 posts to get to the obvious central point: Mexico will pay for the wall!

Great post, AzNASCARfan.

I love avocados, but I will give them up if it helps stop illegal immigration. :-) I think that’s the only thing I knowingly buy that’s imported from Mexico.

That and Mezcal. However, I can easily switch to Tim Smith's Moonshine

“But...but...but...What about the AVOCADOS!!!”

Truly, if avocados were to cost 5% more, our lives would become empty and meaningless.

Off topic... What was the story behind the flamer on the capital grounds two days ago? Obviously a deranged/thoroughly pissed off person, but what was the dude protesting? Global Warming? /s. Seriously, whos side is this guy on? Just curious.

I’m sure they can grow them in Cali, if they need to.

I always thought so, too.

Maybe a nice needlepoint cushion or something...

Yep! I’m in Jack Daniels country but prefer Jim Beam if I drink anything, but I rarely do. There are plenty of alternatives to everything.
