President Donald Trump will deliver the Air Force Academys graduation speech on May 30, the White House confirmed Thursday.
Trump bumped expected speaker Vice President Mike Pence from the podium for the ceremony in Falcon Stadium, where about 1,000 seniors will pin on the rank of 2nd lieutenant. It will be Trumps first stop in Colorado Springs since his visit during the 2016 presidential campaign.
**SNIP**
Trumps remarks havent been written, but addressing his push for a separate Space Force is a safe bet.
Colorado Springs is home to the bulk of the militarys space troops and is in the running to house the new U.S. Space Command, which would oversee all military efforts in space.

My son pinned on Air Force 2nd Lieutenant bars exactly one week ago, as well. GO AIR FORCE.
The local media is announcing that this 2019 Air force Academy graduation ceremony will be massively attended and it advises attendees to the ceremony to get there early for security reasons and crowd control. The commencement begins at 10:30 AM, local time. Trump is now enroute to Colorado. I think FNC, FBN and C-Span TV Channels will carry the POTUS, Trump remarks to the graduating cadets & their family & friends.
I know in my heart what President Trump ought to say. Starts with the word “ENOUGH”.
One of the most inportant matters in your careers is knowing when to leave the field. Graciously.
My my my. LOL
The Blue Angels will perform. When they end their performance and leave the stadium area, they typically fly over our house in a 5-or 6- plane echelon. Impressive. Too bad they’re not allowed to do their REALLY scary routines any more.
The Blue Angels are US Navy (they are awesome and perform every year here during Sea Fair). Did you mean the Thunderbirds - they are USAF and awesome too - my dad was a lifer in the USAF and I got to see them when he was stationed outside Denver.
