He should NEVER have left that open end on obstruction. My gut tells me that the attorneys working for Mueller convinced him to do so.....(political blackmail) And I believe they were the ones that objected to Barr's early statement AND Barr concluding there was no obstruction.
To that, Comey said (IMOW)...I'm sure I had him on obstruction.

Mueller? Of course he was. He was and still is ahole buddies with Comey and Rosenstein. And he gets along just fine with the rest of the conspirators. He just doesnt want to throw his reputation down the drain by lying about his findings, which he knows would be exposed in due course. He almost did it with the Part 2 BS about obstruction, but he pulled back right at the brink.
