President Trump is slowly making headway which is something no modern day president has done, plus the fact that the open borders crowd has doubled or tripled their resistance to his efforts as a result of his actually trying to do something.

If these illegal aliens do not show up for their court date, is a bench warrant issued for arrest if law enforcement contact is made at a future date?

No, its an administrative order. If the alien fails to appear they will frequently be ordered deported even though they are not present. The deportation order will appear on a NCIC criminal back ground check.

But if the state and local police and have a sanctuary policy they are forced to ignore the immigration violation.

If they come into contact with federal authorities they go strait into removal proceedings because they already had their day in court. CBP calls these people "Bag and Baggage" cases.

The problem is that if DHS has no bed space then CBP must release them again after a short time as the article explains.

Of course, they're given a court date but the immigration court is so backlogged that their date isn't for two to three years down the road and the reality is, once they're released, they don't show up for their court hearing. What incentive do they have?

I tell you what incentive they SHOULD have. The facts are, shut them down at the border with military, no more mister nice guy and ENFORCE the effin laws that are on the books.

NONE of this will ever happen because our government, along with cheap labor lobbyists do NOT want the border shutdown.

Secure the border or We the People will reach a tipping point where we take matters into our own hands.

Exactly right. We were seeing these types coming in since '04 when I started patrolling the border. The one that we saw in mass were Chinese (really increased during Obama) and wonder why they did not make the list. Possibly because the market for them is more in Texas (Houston, Austin, San Antonio and Dallas/FW) to man the Chinese spit factories they call restaurants.
