According to USA Today, the new gun control regulations include: Regular firearms training. Special permits to own semi-automatic firearms. Serial number tracking system for key parts of guns. Register all firearms within three years. Keep a log of every firearm in their collection
Compared to the rest of Europe, Switzerland is a lot more gun friendly. After serving in the military, veterans are allowed to keep their firearms and a large number of Swiss take part in the shooting sports.

"Moron" the Swiss capitulation to keep open borders(?). Training I could live with to a certain level. Depending on who's doing the training and who's keeping records. The rest. No go. And, in 5 years, their "betters" in brussels get to review how the Swiss have done implementing the new rules and make more rules if they feel like it. And OH, they'll feel like it. No thanks.

If Switzerland failed to enact tighter gun control legislation, the Swiss could be forced out of the Schengen zone and the Dublin joint system for handling asylum requests. The European Union decided to tighten their gun laws following the Paris attacks in 2015. One of the primary measures the countries took: establishing national databases. Please tell me again why the USA is involved with, and supports NATO?? Some would say its to protect the EU from fascism. Well, its not working.

Beats me! As far as I am concerned NATO should have gone into the dustbin of history like the Warsaw Pact did.

required training is putting a condition on the 2’nd amendment if it were implemented here- no thanks! The 2n’d A didn’t state ‘the right to bear arms ‘Only If’ you get gov approved training’

We used to have government-approved training.
It was called the draft.

62+% approved. WTH?
The turnout was something like 43-44% of eligible voters. Again, a determined minority calling the shots secondary to voter apathy. How long will Swiss citizens put up with this? Only time will tell. Or until they get invaded...

Let me guess. Switzerland will be required to take in lots of Muslim refugees as one of the great “advantages” of obeying their EU masters. Violent crime, especially “gun voilence” (which was virtually unknown in Switzerland) will skyrocket in proportion to the increase of the immigrant population. The EU solution will be more Muslim immigrants and more gun control!
