What a giggle we girls had over that. “How ridiculously unsophisticated these nuns are,” we thought. Then I went to the university and four years later walked out a communist and an atheist, just as my sister Katie had six years before me.
Sometime later, I was a young divorcee with a small child. At the urging of my sister, I relocated to NYC after spending years married to an American executive stationed in Southeast Asia. The marriage over, I was making a new life for my daughter and me. Katie said, “Come to New York. We’re making revolution! Conservatives who send their kids to liberal colleges? Well, they're just ig'nant.
Liberals often gayly (excuse the pun) offer their kids up to their god of the moment to prove the parents’ fealty to whichever social justice cause is afflicting them. Years ago, I had clients (a married, liberal couple) that were continually teaching their kids about same sex lifestyles and encouraging them to ‘find their true natures’. Sure enough, both kids grew up totally FUBAR.
I had a kindergarten teacher, in a truly red, conervative state.. they are teaching 2 mommies n 2 daddies. And women have penises.
Ken Ham and some thers have done groundbreaking work in this are. By the tome they get to college, they are aleady gone.
