Probably kicked off by the stuff coming past our place except much worse. We just got rain snow wind and much cooler temps. Match that up with warm moist gulf air and it won’t be pretty. Heads up folks.

Used to drive across TX panhandle/OK/MO every year in late May. Always very wary and planned trips around weather forecast. Can’t get much more tornado alley than that. Never encountered tornados but saw their damage and had to take cover in a Joplin motel once but the twister veered away. People who live in those areas are very skittish about weather.

The air here in N. Central Texas is feeling extremely “juicy,” and the winds are strong from the Gulf, so I sense a lot of energy in this weather system. Could be really bad.

No discrete “right moving” (AKA right movers) super-cells that I could detect; those are the ones that spawn the big tornadoes.

NWS SPC Verified account @NWSSPC PDS Tornado Watch # 199 is coming for Oklahoma. This is only the second watch in SPC history where every category of watch probabilities (torn, wind, hail) are at greater than 95%. The only other watch like this was issued for Alabama on 27 April 2011.
