I'm just a dumb Hunky. But I don't understand this at all. Given that most illegals don't show up for their asylum hearings, I'm thinking the title of this article should be "ICE kindly helps illegals relocate all across the United States".

Yes, I know that Hillary would have been worse on this issue. Much worse. And yes, I know that the GOP members of Congress are of no help. They just don't seem to care.

But I didn't expect this sort of thing to be happening two years after Trump was sworn in.

No, thank you!

And, to repeat for clarity, this Veteran politely suggests...

NO, thank you very much, anyhoo!

DAMM! Hiring a contractor is okay, just screen them for any REAL humanitarian cases (a few not a lot, since most are coming from Central America not Stalinist USSR or Hitlers Germany)

and have the contractor deliver the other 98 percent home to Mexico, El Salvador, or Columbia, etc

what’s the point of paying a contractor to deliver them to USA? there’s already IN USA!

If you’re going to hire contractors just use the buses that transported them across Mexico. What happened to the plan to take these illegals to sanctuary cities? Send the first 500,000 to LA, the next 500,000 to San Francisco, then Portland, Seattle, etc.

Why is President Trump letting this happen? As I see it, there are three possible explanations.

1. Trump cares, he really cares. Illegal immigration is a top priority for him. But without support in Congress, there is very little that he can do.
2. Trump cares, to an extent. But it’s not worth risking political capital over. There are other, more pressing issues.
3. Trump doesn’t really care. “I’ll build a big, magnificent wall”, that was just a campaign slogan.

Back in 2017, I would have chosen possibility #1, without hesitation. But now, I just don’t know. Why was nothing done during those two golden GOP years of 2017 and 2018? Why didn’t Trump use his bully pulpit more effectively?

Having said all that, will I still support Trump in 2020? Yes. Because any other person would be, without question, a disaster.

They can walk! They will be getting plenty of other “free” stuff from us taxpayers. No rides for freeloaders.

4. Trump knows that Dems support illegal immigrants in the abstract. Once they’re located in their back yards — not so much.

I contend this was the case. The President of the United States has the power to stop this rape. Thus far he's made baby steps that have been checked by low level federal hacks, and he's able to say that he's tried, but....

All these threads and all this crap is the exact same scenario I saw during jore busho's treason. Bushbots trying to rationalize and justify and pretend busho had some clever genius strategy, when all along, he was stabbing us in the back.

The exact same thing is taking place now.

I thought Trump was the answer. But we'll never get rid of the millions of crimigrants that have invaded under his watch. Never. They go underground. False names. Stolen SS numbers. And they squeeze out brats who are automatically citizens.

It makes me sick.

I don’t agree with all of your post. But I agree with the above statement. Crime will increase. Welfare fraud will increase. Voter fraud will increase. And it’s mostly Trump’s fault. Because that’s where the buck ultimately stops.

The Streets of San Francisco was a tv series. That couldn’t be filmed today without the actors slipping and sliding in sheit
