FULL TITLE: Missouri lawmakers ban abortions after eight weeks of pregnancy as Mike Pence PRAISES Alabama's near-total ban for 'embracing life' and accuses Democrat-led states of backing 'extreme' laws
Missouri’s Republican-led House has passed legislation designed to survive court challenges, which would ban abortions at eight weeks of pregnancy.
If enacted, the ban would be among the most restrictive in the U.S. It includes exceptions for medical emergencies, but not for pregnancies caused by rape or incest.
Doctors would face five to 15 years in prison for violating the eight-week cutoff. Women who receive abortions would not be prosecuted.
Republican governor Mike Parson is expected to sign the bill.
Abortion-rights supporters in the Missouri House chamber chanted, 'When you lie, people die' before being ejected. Representatives voted 110-44 for the bill.
The Missouri legislation comes days after Alabama’s governor signed a bill making performing an abortion a crime in nearly all cases.
GOP-dominated state legislatures have been emboldened by the possibility that a more conservative Supreme Court could overturn its landmark ruling legalizing abortions.
'Pro-life state lawmakers and activists saw the shift on the Court, 'Mallory Quigley, a spokesperson for the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List, told DailyMail.com.'
Vice President Mike Pence said Thursday that Democrats in some states are enacting 'extreme' laws expanding the availability of abortions, at a time when Republicans elsewhere are drawing fire for trying to completely ban the procedure.
'Sadly, many states around the country are ... adopting extreme pro-abortion legislation,' Pence told reporters in Wisconsin. He singled out New York for what he said was an 'embrace' of late-term abortion.
The vice president is a former Indiana governor and congressman who won his elections on the strength of unwavering conservative credentials, including his strict evangelical Christian views.

No, they don’t need to be prosecuted, not only because a lot of them are under pressure from boyfriends, friends and even their own mothers - whom I have seen marching their crying teenage girls into abortion facilities - but because any pregnancy ending before delivery is technically called an abortion.
This can mean what is popularly known as a “miscarriage” or, in other words, a spontaneous abortion. But you don’t want women who have had that happen to them and gone through that horrible experience then be under suspicion of having gotten an abortion.
Keep it to the doctors...oh, and maybe extend it to the boyfriends and mothers who bring these girls in.

Was at Costco today, and heard 2 women talking about Alabama’s vote. They were reciting the lefts talking’s point verbatim. It was sickening.

If she doesnt come in for an illegal abortion, no one goes to jail. But if she gets her illegal abortion, everyone but her pays for her crime?
No. That is incredibly unjust.
And if someone is somehow forcing her to get the illegal abortion, and she also doesnt want it, then prosecute that person. If they both want it, prosecute them both.
