I believe Trump is being taken out of context. He’s not saying gay marriage is good. He didn’t comment on that. He’s saying it’s good that a gay person could run for President.

A President like DJT cannot turn his back on people like that who voted for him. He did not run against same-sex marriage, I do not believe he has ever promised to act against it.

Instead of saying Buttigeig’s marriage was “absolutely fine” or “great” I wish Trump would have just said “it’s his life”. Toleration of a bad way of life need not mean approving of it.
