I guess that Alyssa Milano will call for a Super Duper Extra Sex Strike.

I see no reason a 13-year-old should give birth to a sister-daughter. Chances for birth defects would be high, and public pressure would be enough to create diamond.

But why though? NY state, Vermont, and almost VA you can kill your unborn right up until birth.

This is how our system is supposed to work. It's time SCOTUS does the right thing and simply overturn R v W and let the states decide the issue as they did before 1973. Even Ginsburg commented that Roe v Wade went too far.

Good for Alabama! The more states that courageously pass these laws the more cases can be combined to present before the U.S. Supreme Court. They will HAVE to address it.

As I said on one of the other threads, it’s too early for this.

The lower federal courts will strike it down and SCOTUS will not hear Alabama’s appeal.

Abortion because of rape is the worst reason for abortion, getting the rapist off the hook.

Said rapist should be in slave labor prison paying for the mother and child’s life instead. However, our courts seem well intent on holding legit fathers whose wife wronged them on child support for almost ever, even after said wife remarried with a dude who uses the child support as a welfare paycheck of his own

Pushing the line to such an extreme will lead to less support. It is certain that this will be dialed back, and probably take other conservative positions with it.

"with no exceptions for rape or incest"

It's hard to be excited when you know the courts are going to strike this down almost immediately.

It is time for our society to stop allowing women to murder babies.

It’s heartbreaking reading some of these responses justifying abortion. For a supposedly conservative group, far too many of you have been sucked into the vortex of the liberal mindset and their brainwashing tactics.

People, stand up and think. How can you honestly believe that adding the killing of an infant life will ever erase the horrors of a rape?

Read up on stories of women in that situation, those who kept their babies, adopted them out or aborted them. You’ll find that the real stories don’t match up to the imaginations the liberal crowd has shoved down your throats.

Stop allowing them to set the agenda, especially your agenda.

In a perfect world, I'd support this law. I fear that it will be voted down by Supreme Court justices who have a history of neither being true social conservatives nor adhering to the Constitution. That's why I'd prefer going ahead with the heartbeat law, perhaps with a two week window.

Longterm, that would have the effect of having more women choosing life, not being bullied by "friends" into killing their pre-separation infant. I do have a suspicion that a lot of the most rabid "pro-choice" maniacs are that way because they're trying to justify having had abortions.

Many on FB are saying “WE WON’T HAVE SEX IF THERE IS A RISK FOR US BECOMING PREGNANT!”

I responded “GODD! You blooming idiot that looks like a loose meat sandwich, that is the bloody POINT! Sex causes babies. Don’t do it unless you expect it!”

My wife is lot less nice about it.

Funny thing. She is a teacher. Many high school kids are not having sex and are pro life. She says it is because they have seen the wreckage of their parent’s life, and have no desire to repeat it.
