OH, THOSE HEADY DAYS WHEN HILLARY WAS A "SURE-THING"

===============================================

OBAMA's CIA Director Brennan's Perjury Peril.
In his May 2017 testimony before the Congressional intel panel,
<><>Brennan emphatically denied the dossier factored into the Obama intel apparat's conclusion last year that Russia meddled in the 2016 election "to help Trump’s chances of victory.”
<><> Brennan also swore that he did not know who commissioned the anti-Trump research document,
even though senior national security and counterintelligence officials at the Justice Department and FBI knew the previous year that the dossier was funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign.
<><> One official said: “John Brennan did more than anyone to promulgate the dirty dossier. He politicized and effectively weaponized what was patently false intelligence against Trump.”
<><>Brennan, a fiercely loyal Obama appointee, talked up the dossier to Democratic leaders, as well as the press, during the 2016 campaign and fed allegations about Trump-Russia contacts directly to the FBI, while pressuring the bureau to conduct an investigation of several Trump campaign figures.

=============================================

Obama's CIA Director, John Brennan, sucked up bigtime to get a job with Hillary; he worked tidbits from the tidbits from the phony ‘Pee Dossier’ into Obama’s Daily Intel Briefing (PDB). Wadda ya know 'bout that? Brennan and Hillary pegged Obama correctly......
<><> Obama was stupid enough to believe it...... and
<><> too stupid to understand he was reading falsified intel.

========================================
AND THIS--- Devin Nunes is investigating Obama intel officials' roles in promoting the salacious Steele dossier -- and is said to be focusing on:
<><> Obama's CIA Director John Brennan,
<><> Obama’s first CIA director, Leon Panetta,
<><> Obama's intel czar, James Clapper,
<><> Obama's NSA adviser, Susan Rice, and,
<><> Obama's hand-picked UN Amb Samantha Power.

Huber has a very brief mention in the article and it's all he's been worth. :)

Huber apparently has made little progress, and has spoken to few key witnesses and whistleblowers.

And it could suddenly suck in much of the Establishment Media and even Internet companies into the legal mess. The following people now need to have their company lawyers on retainer and speed dial:

A. G. Sulzberger (Editor-in-Chief, New York Times)
Jeff Bezos (owner of Washington Post)
Jeff Zucker (President of CNN)
Philip T. Griffin (President of MSNBC)
Tim Cook (CEO of Apple)
Jack Dorsey (CEO of Twitter)
Satya Nadella (CEO of Microsoft)
Sundar Pichai (CEO of Alphabet/Google)
Mark Zuckerberg (CEO of Facebook)

This is from James Baker's testimony, released last month by Doug Collins:

It should come as no surprise that investigations have been going on out of the public eye, as all professional investigations should be condueded, under the direction of both Sessions and Barr. The fact that it doesn't fit the groupthink narrative is of no consequence whatever.

I want to add one person to your list Harry Reid. Also hopefully very soon everyone who is left in Washington will know someone in prison.

This is the guy who tied the Boston Police and the local FBI office to keeping “Whitey” Bulger from prosecution for many years. Plus, he also helped to put John “Zip” Connolly behind bars. Two big pluses in my book.

AG Barr looks to have made a good choice for the job. Given that he did investigative work for both Janet Reno and Eric Holder, it’ll be interesting to see the Left tie themselves up in knots trying to discredit Atty. Durham.

Huber was never conducting specific investigations. Huber was to recommend areas of investigation that may have been overlooked.

For all we know, Durham may be the follow-up to Huber recommendation.

Group-thinkers on FR used their imaginations to determine what Huber was doing.

#4: "Then start with the indictments already!"

Yes. Where is that multipage indictment of Comey that DiGenova promised? You know, the "bombshell" that would be released in "two weeks". That was over a month ago.

We have been promised much, but have received very little.

I’m beginning to think that perhaps you and EEE might have been on to something. With any luck, I’ll be chowing down on large amounts of crow.

I expect, very soon, a complete 180 from the lefties: “You know, this [Russia collusion] is all we’ve been talking about for three years, the Mueller report came out, it’s time to move on”

That subject has been quiet the last couple of days. You might be on to something.

Yeah, we should organize a pool on who turns states evidence first, and throws their fellow conspirators under the bus (sure bet the British bookies will have this available for wagering in a matter of weeks)

My money (in that category) would be on one of the higher-ups, Comey, Clapper or Brennan. All are practiced at putting the blame on subordinates while keeping their reputations intact. And it’s a safe bet that none of them want to go to prison, especially if they can convince a judge and jury that the plot was hatched and executed by lower-ranking individuals and they weren’t really in the loop. It’s a feckless argument, one that even a D.C. jury wouldn’t buy, but they will try something along those lines to save their own skin.

Among the lower ranking conspirators (Strzok, Page, McCabe), there’s a mixed bag. I think Strzok sees himself as the Gordon Liddy of this scandal, willing to take a bullet for the Democrats and rot in prison, if necessary, for “the cause.” McCabe might be willing to fall on his sword, too, since his net worth is north of $10 million, based on the income of his wife, who is a physician. Page might be more likely to flip, since she doesn’t have McCabe’s personal wealth, and might be less willing than her former lover to “take one for the team.”

Meanwhile, the cabal has to realize that some people have already flipped, namely Bruce Ohr. Both Ohr and his wife are up to their eyeballs in this mess, and played a key role in developing the dossier and relaying its contents back to DOJ officials. Ohr knows all the details and will likely sing to minimize his exposure and that of his wife.

But there’s an “X” factor to consider as well. As the indictments come down, there will be quiet conversations between representatives of the accused, and parties that can make their plight a bit easier. The deal will be simple; plead guilty to lesser crimes, do your time, keep your mouth shut and you will be taken care of for the rest of your life.

And that leads to the ultimate question: at what level will the Democrats try to stop the bleeding and prevent the investigation from following its natural course? As Horowitz, Huber, and Durham peel back the layers, all roads lead back to Obama. Who gets thrown under the bus to save Barry?

Sessions and Rosenstein will probably come out now and make some pro patriotic statements to make people think they are part of the white hat group.
