their feeling of fear is their conscience trying to tell them impeachment is stupid and don’t do it because it’s not truth of the matter - they are only doing it out of hate and their own selfishness, not a valid reason . They likely will ignore their conscience.

They should know impeachment doesn’t play with the voters. That kind of election invalidation lead to Clinton and Bush having unprecedented mid term gains, bucking a hundred plus years of history. Of course in this case it doesn’t really matter, since that same 100+ says Trump will win reelection next year.

Off the 53 in the Senate, I suspect that 40 want him gone... But their seats are more important to them, so they will not vote to remove him.
