A Harvard professor has been dropped from his role as dean of a residential house after joining Harvey Weinstein's legal defense team. Ronald Sullivan Jr signed on to become of the Hollywood mogul's lawyers back in January, sparking backlash from many students at Winthrop House - the Harvard residential college where he has worked since 2009. Sullivan and his law school lecturer wife, Stephanie Robinson, became the first African-American faculty deans in Harvard history when they took their positions at Winthrop a decade ago. However, in a statement on Saturday, a university spokesperson said neither of their roles would be renewed after June 30.

If I was Professor Sullivan Jr I would quit Harvard. As a prominent African-American, he can name whatever law school and price he wants.
And the race card just officially outlived its usefulness to the communists
If this professor wants to fight for his job, he’ll need to come out as a gay transsexual (whether it’s true or not). At least he’ll have a fighting chance.
Now that the precedent has been established will any Harvard faculty lawyer dare to take on a controversial conservative client or cause?
Forget it, Jake. It’s Harvard.
Each student who lodged a complaint should have their grade point reduced by 3.0.
Since when was casting couch Harvey a conservative?!?!?! Dude has (had?) every prominent dem in his contact list... This qualifies as cannibalism by the libs.
Guess they’ve never seen any of the slew of pics of Hillary with best bud, Harvey....
I thought they didn’t have grades at Harvard
I never said he was. The precedent being established here is that Harvard will purge faculty, even faculty belonging to a protected class, because of hostility to a client. None of us here have any sympathy for HW. But it won’t stop with him.
Just shoot me.
What, to 7.0 out of 4.0. GPA has ceased to mean a goddamned thing in academia. The averaged GPA to get into the University of California anywhere is something like 4.5 [out of 4.0]. Arguably the best high school in DC (it's catholic - surprise, surprise) has given up on tough courses and honest grades because it hurts college acceptance.
These folks still have tenure as faculty, which is nigh on impossible to lose. They have just lost their "prestigious" administrative positions [at a good university the bum on the street corner is held in higher regard than a dean, who does paperwork, not academic research]- which are held at the pleasure of the university.
funnier yet is watching Progs eat their own!
