mmm, Patriot missiles could take out missiles fired by Iran as B-52’s drop enough armament to wipe out every city in Iran which contains IRGC and/or Mullahs. The weaponry is in place, just awaits a trigger to set it off.
The downside of that op is the Russians figured out how to jam AC-130s, and jam mil GPS - jamming is something they are very good at.
