How very sad. Thank God for those two who heard the baby, and decided to get involved, not just record the incident on their phones. She will probably find out, but the little girl should not know how she was found until she is much older. Certainly, her school mates should not know. Kids can be cruel to each other when there is something to tease about.

Tragically this happened in Detroit and Philadelphia not too long in the past. Mothers were caught.
This type of heinous crime was one of the true stories Jack Webb used in the color Dragnet series Dragnet 1965 in the episode called "Juvenile DR-35". Baby somehow survived.
