A newborn girl has been found alive inside a garbage bin after passers-by heard its cries, authorities say.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office in the US state of Florida says two people walking at an apartment complex near Boca Raton heard crying coming from the bin and found the baby Wednesday morning (local time).
I hope the baby will be OK and a loving family will adopt her.

How very sad. Thank God for those two who heard the baby, and decided to get involved, not just record the incident on their phones. She will probably find out, but the little girl should not know how she was found until she is much older. Certainly, her school mates should not know. Kids can be cruel to each other when there is something to tease about.

Maybe we should start referring to babies as puppies and kittens. Instead of asking a lib if they're pregnant* with a boy or a girl, ask if they're carrying a puppy or kitten.
*Yes, I know, a lib pregnant is quite extinct.
