Demands by Democrats that Special Counsel Robert Mueller testify before Congress about his report on Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election show a complete lack of respect for the rule of law and the constitutional provisions of the separation of powers.
With their single-minded objective of attacking President Trump, congressional Democrats are sending a dangerous message to the American people.
It is wrong for Democrats to demand that Mueller testify and it would be wrong for Mueller to do so.
When Mueller accepted his appointment as special counsel, he did so fully aware of the federal regulations governing his office. The regulations make it absolutely clear that the special counsel is prohibited from discussing his report publicly.
Leading members of Congress now demanding that Mueller testify know he is barred from doing so. The current special counsel regulations were passed while they were members of Congress.
In 1978, Congress passed the Ethics in Government Act. It created a process for appointing special prosecutors. This is a different position from special counsels like Mueller.

I’m ready for this circus to end but I wouldn’t mind seeing scumbag Mueller answer some of the Republican’s questions. I’d love to see the sob squirm.

Weasel Herr Mueller apparently hired someone somewhere to write his final Term Paper.
Total legal/academic FRAUD.
We demand at least a refund.

They know he can't discuss...
but they can make a lot of noise about Trump defying their righteous demands for testimony and obviously doing it to cover up his Russian agentry.

Years ago, there was a spate of "slamming" events.
Slamming was utility companies (usually electric) hooking people illegally with telephone solicitation by recording a "yes" response (f'rinstance) and then using that recording as a validation for services.
There were other ways, but you get the picture.
THAT'S all the dimwitocrats want are sound bites to be used against America so they can better get a foot into the 2020 election.
As it stands (imo), there's not a viable dimwitocrat able to win against President Trump

Not so sure that is true in total. Sure seems like he can. See below.
Special Counsel Statute 600.9(c)
(c) The Attorney General may determine that public release of these reports would be in the public interest, to the extent that release would comply with applicable legal restrictions. All other releases of information by any Department of Justice employee, including the Special Counsel and staff, concerning matters handled by Special Counsels shall be governed by the generally applicable Departmental guidelines concerning public comment with respect to any criminal investigation, and relevant law
