Watching the recent and laughably hypocritical social media authorities' crackdown on "hate speech" (which means "speech that we don't like"), one is reminded strikingly of a confrontation recorded in the Gospels between Jesus Christ and the Pharisees. Christ directed attention to the longstanding Pharisaical pretension to be just and holy men, although He in His omniscience saw them privately indulging in the very vices they publicly condemned:
Blind guides, who strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel. Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you make clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but within you are full of rapine and uncleanness[.] ... So you also outwardly indeed appear to men just; but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. (Matt. 11:23–27)
Virtue-signaling liberals would have you believe they are the most conscientious of people, perfectly positioned to lecture the public on matters of morality, but in truth, they defend and promote so many abominable injustices that it is impossible to ignore their rank hypocrisy. The most recent attempts of the left to play the part of public virtue police recalls an almost infinite treasury of liberal hypocrisy:

Liberals are in fact morally superior if you accept their redefinitions. child sacrifice, sexual impropriety, institutionalized theft, and silencing of free speech sound like good things if you label them as reproductive rights, gender fluidity, economic justice, and elimination of hate speech. Turning us all into defenseless sheep sounds good if you label it as laws to stop gun violence. All of their alternative moralities look good on the surface. That’s how the devil works. He’s a deceiver.
If one wants to be a good, moral person then one should ask themselves, what would a liberal do? And then do the opposite.
It is a continuation of the war in heaven described in Revelation 12: 7-9. Only the battle front has been moved to earth.
Machiavelli explained how people actually want to believe lies from their leaders:

When someone is standing in a cesspool lecturing me about not wanting to stand in their cesspool with them — which is how I think about the morally superior Left and their Woke or PC judgments — I don’t really fuss over how deep the cesspool is where they’re standing, only that they’re standing in a cesspool and their compatriots are doing their worst to splash me with the filth of their cesspool.
Simple explanation. They are going insane due to a lack of morals and/or possibly displaying their dominate disingenous trait.
The leftists are filling the cesspool and blame us for the smell.
Badly named “progressivism” took us from a country where anything not forbidden was lawful to one where anything licensed etc is illegal ... except for sex and whatever has to do with there being more sex without consequences, like abortion ... only sex is not to be regulated.
While early “progressives” were bad enough for being opposed to the sort of nation we were founded to be they were not slaves to their emotions: too often weak willed corrupt 5th Columnist for who ever wants to destroy us conformists.
