I think they already have gone full H/S. I just think it’s invisible to us. We are the frogs in the slowly boiling pot of water. We just haven’t noticed how hot the water has gotten because it’s been gradual.
I agree 100% that we need to take down the traitors. Completely. Every single one of them. Stamp it out completely or it will spring back up like a weed. And a message must be sent to anyone who would dare to try this in the future. That is why Trump has said repeatedly that this should not be allowed to happen to any future candidate / President. Not only should it not happen to a candidate, it should be prevented from happening to ANY OF US. If they can do this to Trump, they can do it to you or me.

Yes, he was held in contempt because he refused to turn over documents regarding the illegal gun running to Mexico by the Obama administration.
In the case of Eric Holder, the contempt charge was akin to playground name calling as nothing ever came of it.
